Chapter 76 - The King and Queen vs The elders-2!

The niona started to again cast some strange spells, and quite many fireballs started to form. Well, surely I was also thinking about using fire, but I just didn't want to destroy their trees, but Niona was built different; she was a professional mage, while I was just like a hacker in the system, so her control over the magic was countless times better than mine, and now I was seeing the same thing, as she was firing fireballs with great precision that even the king and queen started to counter and dodge the fireballs. So surely looking at it now, it felt more like a display of skills, and surely Ashoka was not slacking behind and was creating quite many skilled minions, and they were endlessly charging towards the king and queen. Seeing such a raw display of skill, the uproar from the audience started to cover the entire battlefield. The announcer was also just biting his soul out while announcing every detail of the match, making it more fun. We guys and the death goddess on the sidelines were surely enjoying it while drinking; seeing such a match surely even shook nature itself. Such precision and composure in their actions surely was making the match seem flawless from both sides. The king and queen were no less, as they were using combination attacks, working in proper sync. Every arrow that was unleashed from their hands was just insanely piercing everything in its path; seeing it surely was making our hearts beat faster. Soon, the entire area started shaking, as both sides started to use their real strength. The Niona started using three elements—fire, electricity, and earth—at a single time while manipulating space around the arena. Seeing it like this surely was making me gulp my saliva while Ashoka was continuously using his magic and his minions to attack them while the king and queen used their magic and created quite a few turret-like things that were continuously firing the arrows. Seeing the intensity and speed of the arrows, everybody was way too shocked that even the professionals were not able to follow the arrows, as if they were teleporting from one place to their targets, but Otaku confirmed that they weren't bending the space or void in any way, so they all were using their skills that were honed by many hundreds or thousands of years. The fight was surely looking pretty interesting, as even the druid was looking closely at the match, so surely it could be said that the match wasn't lacking in any way. But soon after a few minutes, the entire arena was looking way too wrecked, and both sides were extremely exhausted. Everyone was bleeding due to the exhaustion and continuous attacks, as the king's and queen's hands were bleeding because of continuously firing arrows at such speed and such intensity, and then Ashoka was barely even managing to stand up and was covered in his own blood, and Niona's exhaustion was not hidden from anyone, as she was also covered in blood and was not able to properly look straight. So now it was just a match about endurance; the person to bear it to the final moment will be declared the winner, while the others will be declared as losers. So both sides were looking forward to winning, and surely this was a friendly match, not a real war, or this match would have been countless times more fierce because, judging by the laughs on their faces, it was sure that neither of them were using their real lethal skills, so surely it could be assumed that if this would have been a real fighting match, then neither of them would be able to leave the arena in a single piece, as we can guess about Ashoka that he has way too many ways, but due to lethality, he never used them, and the same goes for Niona and others. So seeing such a match was surely giving me goosebumps because whoever wins will have to fight against me, and compared to them, my match was surely looking a bit lacking, so now I had a fire in me that was telling me to push my limits and make it the most entertaining match. So on the field everyone was struggling and decided to give it a final shot and end it. Everyone started to charge up while spitting the blood from their mouths. Feeling the energy fluctuations, surely everyone in the audience was looking dumbstruck and otaku, and the death goddess started to look at the match more carefully and placed a barrier around the arena because surely the intensity of the clash could have wiped out the nearby people in mere moments, so after some moments, both king and queen released a combined arrow towards Ashoka and Niona. Seeing the arrow, Ashoka summoned a pretty dark mage-type shadow and fired a strange dark beam at the arrow, and Niona started to change the terrain into the whirlpool of lava, and lava started to form a strange kind of ray and started to charge. Seeing such a clash, everybody's eyes opened wide, and only one question hung in the air: "Who will win?" The tremors from the clash started to engulf the entire area, and the sounds of uproars started to cover the entire battlefield, and soon the tremors calmed down and the dust started to clear, and we saw two figures barely even standing. The figures were none other than the king and Ashoka! The niona and the queen were lying on the ground, while Ashoka and the king were barely even maintaining their consciousness, and their bodies were not looking like bodies anymore, just piles of flesh, scarred and bruised, and at any moment they would fall on the ground! Now the announcer screams the results: "The king and the elder of the darkness guild are the only people that are left standing in the ring while the queen and the other elder are lying on the floor. So it will be a clash against time; the person to fall first will be declared as the fallen tree, while the standing one will be declared as the Standing tree of the elven kingdom!"
