How could a man be in her apartment? She was living alone now. Her face paled with fear.
"Hi." The man greeted her with a smile.
It was then that it dawned on Coral that he was Sloane's boyfriend. That meant Sloane had moved in.
She smiled nervously. "Hi."
She looked around, but there was no sign of Sloane. Then she might be in Einar's room, which was now hers. She thought sadly. She walked forward with her head lowered. All the while, Dane looked her up and down. Coral was very well aware of his gaze but didn't say anything. She walked towards her room.
"Oh hey, you came back."
She lifted her head and saw Sloane coming out of her room.
"Hi." Coral stopped in her tracks and smiled. She felt a little better after seeing her. "When did you arrive?" She asked.
"A few hours ago." Sloane said as she sauntered to the couch and sat beside her boyfriend.
"Oh… good. Welcome to your new apartment." Coral said.
"How nice. Thank you." Sloane replied with a smirk.
