"Hold on," Kelly said.
She rose slowly from the floor, her knees straightening one at a time, the red net shifting and resettling across her body as she came up to her full height.
She reached down and adjusted the fabric across her hips, pulling it straight, smoothing it over her waist with both hands, taking her time about it.
The net caught the light as she moved, the red threads shifting against her pale skin.
'Even just watching her fix her clothes is doing something to me,' he thought.
Liam watched her from the couch, his arms still spread along the top edge, completely unhurried.
"Are you not going to strip?" he asked.
Kelly looked at him. "No. I want to try something."
"Try what?" The amusement was clear in his voice.
She pointed at him. "Behave. Just wait."
Liam tilted his head. "Yes, Miss Kelly."
"Okay." She turned away from him and stood in the middle of the room, one hand coming up to her chin, her fingers rubbing against it slowly.
