Xavel (ksa-vil); a 16 year old boy with black spiky hair and blue oceanic-like eyes with slightly pale white skin along with some scars here and there from abuse, was walking on the sidewalk at midnight, rocking a tight black shirt which hugged against his muscular frame and baggy light blue jeans with some shoes he bought from the mall. Overall, he looked slightly above average. Height; 5'9
Along with him came his sister, Saphei (sa-fei). She is 16, has black long hair and extremely pretty eyes, with the same head shape as Xavel, a diamond headshape. She was petite, and her skin was perfect, being 5'4.
She was wearing a black skirt and white shirt along with a black coat which covered her arms and chest, going all the way down to her thighs.
Xavel said; "Did i really have to come?"
He grumbled, as he checked for any messages, but guess what? His phone hadn't gotten anything at all, except for a system message saying: "Update 17.9 Available. Update now? Or Update midnight?".
"You know it's dangerous for a girl to go walking alone at night!" Saphei said before smacking Xavel's arm. "I really wouldn't care if you got kidnapped, i would rather you did actually.." Xavel started to walk faster as Saphei ran right behind him as They got closer and closer to the gas station.
"You know what? I'm not buying you anything now!" Saphei pouted, as she walked to the Snack section, leaving Xavel behind at the entrance. Xavel looked around glaringly, searching for whatever threat, acting like a bodyguard even though he knew he would run away at the first second.
Xavel sighed as he walked to the cashier.
"Do you have a energy drink of this specific brand?" Xavel pulled out his phone and showed the cashier a picture of a large waterbottle with the brand name; "Watery" on it. "Nah, what typa brand even is that?" Said the cashier.
"It's nothing" Xavel walked away, grumbling as that specific brand was on his top 3 drinks list for the night. Meanwhile, Saphei had like 5 party-sized bags of chips in her basket, along with a giant bottle of Baja blast, walking towards the cashier. "How much?" Saphei looked at the cashier. "33.49 with tax" the cashier put the items in the bag.
Saphei took out her wallet before pulling out two 20 dollar bills. The cashier put the money in the cash drawer. "Uhh.. my change?" Saphei looked at the cashier. "Come on, mis, just let it slide."
"No? Who do you think i am?? Give me my change, now!" Saphei glared at the cashier, but the cashier didnt budge at all. "Look, mis, 6.51 in change isn't that serious, please just spare me the money, i have a family to feed.."
Saphei told the cashier "with those looks.. could you even get a girl to look at you without disgust?" Instantly, the cashier took out a revolver, pointing it towards Saphei.
"Woah-" Saphei was about to talk when the cashier shouted "GET OUT OF MY SHOP RIGHT NOW!"
Meanwhile, Xavel was observing the drinks section until he heard the shout of the cashier. He instantly dropped everything as he rushed towards the paying area. He froze as he saw a gun being pointed at his sister, he got angry. "You..!" He ducked under the shelves to remain hidden as he rushed to the side of the checkout counter before leaping right over the counter and kicking the cashier right on the jaw, sending the cashier to the ground as he dropped the revolver.
Xavel grabbed the revolver as he pointed it towards the cashier "what the fuck were you doing to my sister?!" The cashier stuttered; "agh.. i-it was only a matter of change! It was her who insulted me first-" instantly, Xavel removed the safety before shooting the cashier in the leg.
The cashier screamed in pain before pressing the emergency button, which instantly contacted the cops and the alarms were ringing all around the gas station which seemed to be almost twice as big as a normal gas station should be.
"Fuck, let's get out of here!" Shouted Xavel as he leaped over the counter and grabbed the items and Saphei's hand which was just frozen in shock. "Damn it, move your fucking legs!" Xavel shouted in her ear, as saphei came back to her senses and started to run.
10 minutes later…
Xavel was gasping for breath, and so was his sister. "God damn.. are we gonna be considered criminals?" Saphei asked Xavel.
"I dont know, all i'm thinking right now is how our parents are going to react to this.." Xavel said with worry, hoping his parents were in a deep sleep since they snuck out.
They started their long walk home. They stayed quiet the whole journey, until Xavel said "we only have like 3 minutes left of walking and we're home, okay?" But, before saphei could speak, they heard police sirens, and it seemed there were a bunch of them, sending shivers down their spine. "There is no way we were getting hunted by more than 20 policemen just for shooting a guy's leg, right? It was his fault!" Said Saphei.
Seconds later, 5 bank cars rushed past us, and we could see a semi-truck with a long shipping container it was carrying, releasing tons of oil to disrupt the policemen. Xavel and Saphei just stared in shock. As the semi-truck was about to go right past them, it tilted.
"No.. NOOO!!!" The next second the trailer fell to it's left, about to crush Xavel and his sister. Saphei stared in shock while Xavel tried to grab Saphei and run away. But it was too late, as the shipping container crushed saphei completely, her body exploding with a loud CRUNCH while xavel's bottom half of his body along with his stomach got completely crushed. He was still alive but in great pain.
Xavel's vision was blurry as policemen surrounded them along with the ambulance and firefighters. He tried to speak, but all that came out were gasps. He saw his own sister die infront of his eyes, and yet he was still trying to ask what happened to his sister.
Xavel's sight closed off as everything went dark.. "is this how i die..? Really?.." These were Xavel's last thoughts.
