Chapter 336 - Chapter 330 High Sparrow must have seen that the root of all this chaos was caused by the nobles

High Sparrow must have seen that the root of all this chaos was caused by the nobles. Therefore, after he gained power, he vigorously suppressed the nobles and saved the common people. Whether it was capturing Little Rose or Cersei, it was all to undermine the prestige of the nobility. Cersei's walk of atonement completely crushed the aristocratic authority of the entire Seven Kingdoms, letting the common people know that these nobles were no different from them, much like the sentiment of 'Are kings and generals born different?'

Regardless of High Sparrow's true intentions, his actions—saving commoners, clearing corpses, distributing food, rectifying the church, suppressing nobles, and re-establishing moral order—were perhaps the most righteous in the entire Ice and Fire World. This is why Lynd proactively came to Flea Bottom to meet him.

"Godsworn, why have you come to see me?" High Sparrow, being very direct, asked.

Lynd replied, "I will provide you with enough food and funds."

High Sparrow was momentarily stunned, then asked, "What do I need to give in return?"

"Nothing. You just need to do as you see fit," Lynd shook his head, then took out a Dragon Rune necklace made of dragon crystal and handed it to High Sparrow, saying, "When you are troubled, you can wear it. It can calm you down, but don't wear it for too long. Also, if you need help, you can take it to the Miracle Merchant Guild in the city."

High Sparrow hesitated for a moment but did not refuse Lynd's kindness. He took the dragon crystal necklace and carefully placed it in his pocket, then asked doubtfully, "Godsworn, why are you helping me so much?"

Lynd smiled and said, "When everyone else is looking up at the dragons flying in the sky, you are looking down at the ants beneath your feet. You are a very interesting person, and you are worth helping."

With that, he didn't bother with the still-puzzled High Sparrow and simply turned and left the stronghold.

On the way out of Flea Bottom, Lynd did not head towards his official residence but instead decided to go to Silk Street to find Tyrion Lannister.

Lynd had been closely following Robert's journey to King's Landing to ask Lord Eddard to come south and serve as Hand of the King, sending people to relay messages constantly.

He found that perhaps because of his own appearance, many things had changed. Jaime and Cersei were not bold enough to seek pleasure on someone else's territory, and Tyrion had not accompanied Benjen to the Wall.

But some things remained unchanged. For instance, Bran still fell from the tower and remained unconscious, Jon still chose to go to the Wall to join the Nights Watch, Sansa and Arya still followed Lord Eddard south, and Lady still perished along the way.

Lynd could sense that the War of Five Kings—no, it should be the War of Four Kings—would still occur. Everything had changed, yet nothing had completely changed.

As Lynd was deep in thought and walking out of Flea Bottom, a commotion in a nearby alley caught his attention.

Several Flea Bottom vagrants had cornered a little girl in the alley, seemingly intending to capture her and sell her to a brothel. The little girl, however, held a thin rapier and was warning the vagrants in the common tongue with a strong Northern accent.

Seeing this scene, Lynd immediately recognized the little girl's identity and signaled to his attendants.

Several attendants, who were Chosen of God, walked over and easily dealt with the vagrants, then brought the little girl before Lynd.

Lynd looked at the little girl and said, "Miss Arya Stark, King's Landing is not Winterfell. There are too many people here, and all kinds of people. If you wander around carelessly, you will be eaten by the people here. 'Eaten' is not a metaphor; it means truly eaten."

"You know me? Are you also a noble from King's Landing?" Arya obviously didn't understand Lynd's warning; instead, she looked at Lynd with curiosity.

"I do know you, but you were very young then, so you probably wouldn't remember me." Lynd reached out and ruffled Arya's hair. Although Arya tried to dodge Lynd's hand, her movements were clearly not fast enough.

Lynd instructed his attendant, "Take her back to the Red Keep and hand her over to Lord Eddard."

"No, I just managed to run away! I don't want to go back!" Arya quickly backed away, her face full of refusal, and her eyes darted around as if searching for an escape route.

Looking at the brave girl, Lynd couldn't help but smile and said, "In that case, you can follow me for now! Once I finish my business, I'll send you back."

Saying that, he again instructed an attendant to inform Eddard Stark, so that Lord Eddard would not worry.

Arya hesitated for a moment, then nodded and said, "Alright! I'll follow you. Oh, you know my name, but I don't know who you are?"

Lynd smiled and replied, "My name is Linde Terra."

Arya was first stunned when she heard Lynd's name, then quickly realized who the person in front of her was. She stared at Lynd, dumbfounded, at a loss for words. She could only follow closely behind Lynd as they walked towards Silk Street.
