Gift-wrapping paper lay scattered across the grand hall where the birthday celebration was being held.
After blowing out the candles and eating the cake Yuzu had baked herself, they finally reached the main event, the gift-giving for the two birthday girls. Yuzu accepted each present with a radiant smile and heartfelt gratitude. Meanwhile, although Yuki still struggled to socialize with the servants, she quietly thanked them and received every gift with open hands.
"Yuki, Yuzu, try opening the gifts from us."
Once the servants were done, it was Yeva and Viktor's turn to hand them their gifts. Yuzu and Yuki exchanged glances and silently agreed to open Yeva's gift first.
Yeva had wrapped her present beautifully, so beautifully that Yuzu almost hesitated to tear the paper. But when Yuki carefully began to unwrap it, Yuzu followed. Her eyes immediately lit up when she saw the soft scarf inside the wrapping.
"You made this yourself, Yeva?"
