Chapter 21: disappointed not finding and criminals

This player is a top player of the Tokyo spirits team called Hide. The kidnappers kidnapped the younger brother of this hide. To be precise the one that kidnapped the younger brother of hide is actually Naoki a friend of hide.
Rito knows all this as he remembered the plot just after seeing their names and information. This also made him feel disappointed that he could not get any benefits from this. He was angry and went to beat up the new thugs outside.
Well a criminal can only give the confession once. If he makes the crimes again then the new crimes are considered but not the old crimes so the value of confession points is usually less. Rito cannot fight against the big bosses.
He can only hide his identity and beat few local thugs to get the points after getting their confession. This is like a pick pocket that just makes enough money to achieve the ends meet but there is not much in surplus.
So Rito was disappointed in this. He did not meet any beauty locally to play with for the time being. Sonoko is not included in the plot. Naturally the amount of time Rito can meet her is also limited.
The rich families are not for show. They would scrub their descendents to shine very brightly. This kind of scrubbing would not stop for a day and they would be given only few days off every year.
For this very reason Sonoko wanted to experience so much with Ran and runs around all over the place. That is how things are. Rito sighed knowing this and unless the plot allowed him to go to a new place the chance of meeting beauties is very less.
After tasting the forbidden fruits again he really wanted to have that pleasure but there is no way. So he can only endure the discomfort for the time being and let the plot move forward slowly.
Well there is something good about the current kidnapping case. That is in order to find Shinichi that is the current Conon to find the kidnapped kid, the girl that came over actually said that she is dating Shinichi.
She even said that she kissed Shinichi. Ran was so angry that the entire thing looked really good. Unfortunately Conon that is Shinichi could not solve this matter directly by explaining because of his identity right now.
But the entire plot situation is so good that Rito was enjoying it. Even though he could not get the confession points he can watch the show and enjoy like a good audience. Fortunately professor Agasa called in time giving Conon that is Shinichi a chance to turn things around.
Ryoko is the girl that came over at that time and Ran want to go to her home to wait for Shinichi to catch him and get the bottom of the entire thing. Conon was dragged into it naturally. As for Rito, Kogoro was slightly worried, so he told Rito to follow Ran.
So Rito followed Ran and came to the house of Ryoko. Rito naturally noticed the problem but he did not do anything. Instead he stayed on the side as usual to see Conon solving the case. Rito started to watch the match without much problem.
This case would be solved before half time of the match that is only 45 minutes of time from the start. So Rito just watched the show for 45 minutes to let the case solved. There is another purpose in this case that is to let Ran doubt Conon more.
She would once again doubt that Conon is Shinichi. Later when they went to the house of Naoki and the case is solved Naoki finally wanted to shed his tears of shame. Unfortunately Ran doesn't want to see those tears and stopped him half way.
The scene is so good that Rito wanted to laugh out loud. But he can only hold himself back. Don't underestimate the woman in rage. Also if that woman is someone that knows karate then it would be even more dangerous.
It took 3 days for Ryoko's explanation for Ran to believe in the innocence of Shinichi. Rito on the side has good time laughing because he did not have this kind of problem. During these three days nothing happened.
But Kogoro has a petty case related to a wife doubting about her husband and wanted Kogoro to investigate her husband secretly. Kogoro went to investigate this matter and gave the duty of reporting back to the rich lady to Rito.
