The city of Eridale stretched as far as the eye could see, a sprawling maze of stone streets, bustling marketplaces, and towers that glittered under the midday sun. Merchants shouted, nobles flaunted their wealth, and the occasional magical construct floated overhead, delivering messages or goods.
I blinked. "…Wow. That's… a lot."
Lyra's eyes sparkled. "It's incredible! I've read about Eridale in history scrolls, but seeing it… it's overwhelming!"
Bran groaned. "And probably dangerous. Cities this big always attract trouble."
Elira squinted at the crowds. "And spies, thieves, assassins… don't get too comfortable, Protector."
I grinned, brushing a bit of dust off my cloak. "Relax. I can handle… pretty much everything."
[Observation: Confidence remains dangerously high.]

Our caravan passed through the main gate. Guards in polished armor gave us curious looks as we presented a letter from the Nerulian council.
"Ah… so you're the Protector of River Fen," one said, eyebrow raised. "Word travels fast."
I waved awkwardly. "Yeah, that's me. Totally not exaggerating."
Lyra muttered, "They are exaggerating, but keep it down."
---
We reached a busy marketplace. Stalls lined the streets, selling everything from enchanted fruits to mechanical gadgets that puffed steam with each use.
A particular stall caught my eye a young genius tinkerer surrounded by glowing runes and sparking machinery.
"Whoa… that looks dangerous," I muttered.
Lyra whispered, "Dangerous and fascinating."
The tinkerer glanced up, eyes narrowing at me. "You… you're the Protector of River Fen, aren't you? Hmph. I'll be keeping an eye on you."
I blinked. "…Uh, thanks?"
[Observation: Genius character detected. Potential ally/rival.]
---
As we continued, a group of nobles in extravagant robes pushed past us, laughing loudly. One of them a strikingly beautiful girl with flowing hair and a jewel-encrusted staff glared at us.
"Who allowed peasants onto the main avenue?" she demanded.
I rubbed the back of my neck. "…Uh… just passing through?"
Elira muttered, "Great. Already attracting attention."
The girl's smile softened slightly when she noticed my aura. "…Wait a second… you're the Protector. Huh. I like your style. Perhaps we'll meet again."
[Observation: Potential noble ally. High charisma detected.]
---
As we settled near an inn, the merchant from the trade road tugged at my sleeve. "Protector! You must try my latest concoctions. They're guaranteed to enhance your skills or explode. Preferably enhance."
I groaned. "…I'm starting to think everything I touch explodes."
Lyra laughed. "That's your charm."
Bran muttered under his breath: "More like a hazard."
Later that day , bran reported to the main headquarters, and after some negotiations. The Nerulians were allowed to stay in the city for sometime while the king sent workers to help rebuild river fen.
" That's nice"
Yuto thought after Bran told him all what happened. He was happy thje Nerulians were getting their home rebuilt.
" The inn keeper told me about a guild in the city, elira and I both have decided to join for a while"
" I knew you guys would jump into things too soon". Bran yapped, Lyra also sought to join them, but Bran was still in charge of the Nerulians for now, so he couldn't say.
