"You seem to be in a good mood," Eric said to Wonder Woman, who had just finished teaching Rachel swordsmanship. "You even had the energy to teach Rachel swordsmanship."
"She is your sister, but sometimes, I feel like she's one of my sisters from Themyscira," Wonder Woman expressed her feelings to Eric.
"So, teaching Rachel swordsmanship feels the same as teaching my sisters, which reminds me of the past. I enjoy it and I like this atmosphere."
Eric nodded upon hearing this.
"Rachel usually has a three-minute heat (momentary passion). Compared to swordsmanship, I think she's still more interested in those dark and profound things, so I hope her enthusiasm lasts for a while."
"Instead of dampening her enthusiasm, I think you should focus on encouraging her," Diana said to Eric with a slight smile, then turned and left.
"Oh, right."
After walking a few steps, she suddenly turned around and asked Eric, "When do you have time? We can spar a bit with swordsmanship."
"In most cases, I'm not proficient in swordsmanship," Eric expressed his refusal.
"Then when are you proficient in swordsmanship?" Diana asked Eric.
"If their speed and strength are inferior to mine, my swordsmanship will be very proficient. But when facing someone at my level, my swordsmanship is not very proficient," Eric said something uncharacteristically lighthearted.
"Then," Diana asked Eric, her eyes flashing with a dangerous glint, "which type do you think I am?"
"For now, it should be the former," Eric said bluntly.
"Is that so?" Wonder Woman felt her mood instantly sour.
She took a deep breath and said to Eric, "Our sparring isn't finished, so don't get too smug yet, got it?"
Without waiting for Eric to reply, she left in a huff.
She felt that if she stayed there any longer, she might just explode from anger.
After Wonder Woman left, Rika walked over to Eric and reported that all the superheroes on the list had been successfully captured.
"What should we do with these superheroes now?" Rika asked Eric.
"Just lock them all up. If anyone resists, execute them directly, no mercy," Eric had no interest or good feelings for these masked superheroes who fought criminals on the streets.
Whether burdened by a heavy destiny, possessing a compassionate heart, or upholding the creed of "with great power comes great responsibility" as their code of chivalry—
These so-called masked superheroes, in his eyes now, were nothing more than a group of criminals disrupting order, and there was a high probability they would stand against him.
He was always merciless when dealing with criminals.
The supervillains of Gotham should be well aware of this.
Scarecrow, Two-Face, Riddler, Bane, Poison Ivy, Black Mask—all these supervillains were locked up by him in Arkham and Blackgate Penitentiary.
And in response to their escape attempts, Eric had implemented severe punishments.
Of course, a few villains still hadn't been caught, like Joker.
Ever since Eric implemented strict policies in Gotham, Joker had gone into hiding. Even when Eric released Harley Quinn to search for him in Gotham, she couldn't find any trace of Joker.
Eric even suspected he had already left Gotham.
But then he remembered that Batman, whom Joker cared about most, was still in Gotham, and Eric dismissed that thought.
Although Batman was pretty much dead by now.
The only uncertainty was that Eric hadn't found Batman's body yet, so he couldn't confirm if he was truly dead.
