Chapter 10 - Iron Supper

The clouds were swirling over the sky. The daylight was playing hide and seek.

Trp! Trp! Tp!

Someone's running.

"AAAAH!" A man raged and charged at him. He was about to strike him with his sword.

He dodged the strike and jumped on his shoulder.

Baam!!

Bam!

Baam!!

He punched his face continuously. The bones shattered into blood and he collapsed.

The war ground was burning with enthusiasm and blood. The screams were killed by the edges of sword. An arrow pierced a head and the sword slashed the archer.

A big flag was burning the design wasn't clear yet the flames were enormous. It crumbled and fell down.

Soldiers were killing and being killed.

He look at his hands it was shaking. His gauntlet was broken. The shattered metal was hurting his fist too. He was covered in blood.

"Look behind you!"

Someone screamed at him.

As he turned,

SHRRRAAAK—BOOOM!!

A massive thunder strike pierced him.

The impact made a vast space in middle of war. The hill shattered into pieces and crumbled down with many soldiers and him.

"AAAAAAAH!"

With a massive scream Yarma's brother woke up. He was sleeping on the bank.

The wind was furious, a massive thunderstrom just dropped its arrival.

He stood up in a jolt and ran back to the stairs.

Dham!

He bumped with a person.

"Hey, watch where you are going."

"So...rry."

He ran away without saying further.

Sehab was standing outside of the main door.

He stood crossing his arms. "Hmm.. A storm is coming. I should go inside."

Yarma's brother came running to Lober. Residents and disciples had already taken seats and started eating.

He was catching his breaths. 'This dream again huh..'

"Brother!.." A known voice called him.

He saw Yarma, waving his hand at him.

He came to Yarma. Most of the residents were at the end of eating.

"I didn't expect you to come here. How did you woke up so early?"

"Yah. I got startled by lightning strike."

"Haah? "

Whoooosh!~

A violent wind flowed.

"A strom is coming. Eat fast and go back inside. The stroms in this height are dangerous.

Hurry up!" Sehab warned everyone before closing the Ribia entrance gate.

Some residents put there left on garbage container and ran toward the guest rooms.

"Areh? Yarma. Your brother was invited by the master for supper."

"What? I can't go to Lober in this weather."

"Yeah you are right.."

"Give me anything left to eat. "

"I can't as there is nothing."

"You should make a run brother if you don't want sleeping in hunger. The weather is still not that worse yet." Yarma said.

SSHRRRAK-BOOOM!!

Another lighting strike fell.

"Ok. I take my words back."

The violent winds were hitting the olden roof of masters house in Lober.

Zinor was sitting at a side of the table. The master didn't come to eat yet.

Servants of Master's house served the dishes of supper.

'What is this? Did he invited me to celbrate the morning incident?' Zinor was puzzzled in his thoughts.

"I hate it! Yaaah!!" Yarma's brother was yelling while running down the bridge. The winds were violent.

Dhaam!

A big branch of a tree swirled up with wind and slammed on the bridge.

The rain was heavy. Yarma was lying, staring at the ceiling. 'Did he reach?'

Sdhat!

The sliding door opend with a shut.

"Who is it?" Zinor stood up. The candles were dimly lit. It was difficult to see much in the faint light.

"I say, who—" "Zinor! Is that you?" The person asked before Zinor's words ended.

"Yarma's Brother? What are you doing here?"

"That should be my question."

As he come closer Zinor saw he was drenched. He took a yemsel and wiped his own head.

The storm was getting violent with time. The winds were screaming outside. While, the oil lamp keeps flickering.

The fron door slided open. The master came.

"Sorry for waiting you this much. I was busy preparing something for you yet it will take a

while."

As all of them sat together, they started digging in.

After some bites, Zinor started the talk.

"Did something happen? You suddenly invite us in your house among all resident and disciples."

"Hmm.."

"What is it master?" Yarma's brother asked.

"Hmmm.."

He didn't answered yet kept chewing his food.

The storm outside reached to it's extreme. The master placed the empty dishes after eating.

"I want you to know this Berca that the Sangha may be aware that you are here."

His words make Yarma's brother still.

"You may be heard his name by Dante. He is Dante's eldest grandson."

"Master. I thought you ordered me to keep these to myself."

"I know Berca I know. The fire temple decsiples came here in this afternoon."

"In search of me?" Berca asked.

"No. They were searching for a protester appeared in recent."

Tap! Tap!

He tapped the table for some times.

A servent opened the door. "Here master."

He handed over some papers to master.

"That may be you Zinor." He put a hand made wanted poster of Zinor.

Zinor saw it.

"I know. Those bounty hunters were behind this reward."

"What did you do to get 8000 Dayans bounty."

" I? I just punched one or two decsiples of fire temple harassing your grandfather for alms."

"That single thing can't cause this much."

"Actually... You did more than that Zinor." The master said. "You nearly killed their 2nd grade master and injured a retired Shesenkai during last Fire Ceremony."

"What? I don't remember anything like that."

"The news says so. Beside, you should think for yourself Berca. After the battle of Heins your head cost much more than that."

He showed Berca's poster. There was 30000 Dayans on his head.

"Whaat!!" Berca almost screamed. His voice cracked the chorus of rain outside.

It was heavy. It was hard to see anything in this much rain.

For a moment, everyone stayed silent.

"Was this the reason you called us out of everyone for supper?"

"Hmm. Though I am not finished."

"What's left there?"

"For you two this place is no longer safe."

"Are they really that much?"

"You don't know Zinor. Among hundreds of mere peoples only ten can follow the hard worship of divine fire law. Among them only one become a Shesenkai by 50 years of hardship...."

"Gaardan was old. But he was one of the strongest of his times. While I and Dante faught him. We got severely burning scars."

The master moved his golden shawl.

Zinor and Berca saw the darken scars of burn. They didn't heal in hundred years.

"What do you want us to do?"

"I want you to put a hard effort on your training Berca. Whether you prefer living like a protester or surrender to become a commoner is totally your choice. But the higher Sangha is hunting for you. I can't simply turn my back toward someone who came to me seeking for shelter."

"And what about me?"

"Hmm.. Zinor. Someone this weak cannot survive alone. Put your life under the shade of Tansen Dojo for rest of your life in order to live."

"What!!" Zinor stood up jolted.

Stap!

The master tapped in the middle of his chest.

"What? Are you do—"

Bham!

Zinor collapsed on the table.

The master adjusted his shawl and turned his back at him.

"Berca. Carry him to the Ribia. The strom is going to halt."

He opened the door.

The candles dimly lit as he left the table.

"Why don't we just charge into Ribia and get them?" Lilly exclaimed on Sharma. "Who made you a second grade?"

Sharma was smiling as he heard her. "Yeah, yeah."

"You and your disciples just sit here and see how to become a Shesenkai in two years."

"No one would dare to do such thing Lily."

"Why?"

"Because they know that even the devil himself come seeking shelter to this Dojo, Hajin will never return him. You need to deal with him before reaching for the devil."

"How hard it would be to deal with a mere old man?"

"Hmm... A mere old man who made the Sangha agree to maintain a contract with Dojo despite having a history of protester."

Lily this time didn't flout his words.

Slowly the raining choirs started fading and a last whistling scream of the cold breeze announced the demise of the storm. Maybe Temporary.
