Chapter 341 - Chapter 341 Dead, all dead

After discovering this fact, the Snake-Footed Giants' hearts were utterly thrown into disarray.

They used to dare to charge and fight on the battlefield, even being able to overpower or even kill gods of the same level despite the disparity in divine authority. That was all thanks to their characteristic of being unkillable no matter how they were attacked. But now, this characteristic had been broken by this so-called "Olympus Champion" through some unknown method.

Pallas, the "Youth" among the thirteen strongest Snake-Footed Giants, fell dead simply from a spear strike to his chest. This was something that would have been utterly impossible before. Even the weakest and most feeble individual among the Snake-Footed Giants would not have lost his life from a spear piercing his chest.

But facts spoke louder than words; Pallas had just died so easily. This fact proved that the Olympus Gods had indeed mastered a way to defeat them!

"Die!"

As the leader of his race, Alcyoneus's reaction was undeniably swift. While everyone was shocked by this fact, only he directly swung the greatsword in his hand and rushed towards the giant tree that Demeter had transformed into, intending to cleave this "Olympus Champion" to Death with one blow.

But Zeus was not foolishly doing nothing either. With Athena's instructions, despite his pride, he had also paid half his attention to Alcyoneus. Seeing his old opponent's actions, he directly wielded lightning, intercepted Alcyoneus, and then burst into laughter:

"All troops, charge! Today is the day these disobedient ones die!"

Following the God King's command, the Olympus God Army once again blew the horn of attack. After the spear was pulled out, the giant tree's wound quickly healed with the help of Demeter's divine power within its core. And after healing, the giant tree once again brandished its roots, launching an assault from underground towards the Giant Race's divine city.

Meanwhile, the monster army, heroes, and subordinate gods of Olympus also charged towards the Snake-Footed Giants. For a time, countless arrows, javelins, and magic transformed into dazzling and deadly fireworks in the night sky, raining down upon the Snake-Footed Giants.

"Don't just stand there! Quickly kill that Olympus Champion!"

Alcyoneus horizontally blocked the lightning Zeus struck down, then anxiously shouted to his compatriots:

"For our race, he cannot live on!"

"Don't talk so much, Alcyoneus, our duel hasn't been decided yet!"

Zeus let out a sky-shattering laugh, then conjured dark clouds, storms, and lightning, isolating the battlefield between himself and Alcyoneus from the battlefield between the Gods and the Giant Race.

"Kill him!"

Alcyoneus continued to shout to his compatriots until the last second before his voice was obscured by the thunderclouds:

"At all costs, you must kill him—"

The Giant King's voice was quickly drowned out by the thunder. Within the thunderclouds, only two towering figures could be seen clashing amidst occasional flashes of lightning. And the Snake-Footed Giants on the battlefield, after looking at each other, their first reaction was to run back.

What a joke. Even Pallas, the "Youth," was killed in one blow by this Olympus Champion. How could ordinary Snake-Footed Giants like them be a match for that terrifying bald man?

On the battle formation, the ordinary Snake-Footed Giants were retreating. Only "Stormer" Aegaeon and "Barbarian" Agrius, also among the thirteen top Giants, charged against the tide of the Gods' army, moving in reverse towards the Olympus Champion standing before the giant tree.

The "Barbarian" swung his axe, but it was deflected by a gust of black wind from the side, sending it off course. This black wind also blocked the great hammer that Stormer Aegaeon brought down. Where the black wind touched, the land turned to sand, plants withered, and the skin of the two Snake-Footed Giants also began to rapidly decay.

"Don't think he's the only one on the battlefield."

Hades transformed into a whirlwind and appeared before Aegaeon and Agrius. He held a bident in his hand, his black robe flapping in the wind, and the darkness of his robe's hem seemed to contain the mysteries of the entire Underworld.

Seeing this powerful deity, whose threat level was no less than Zeus's, Aegaeon and Agrius's attention was momentarily drawn by Hades. And in that instant, two faint red lights flashed across their bodies. Both lowered their heads and found that the golden-armored bald champion had already swung his weapon and rushed into the distance, leaving several tiny wounds on their bodies.

Looking at the bleeding but not immediately healing wounds on their bodies, Stormer Aegaeon and Barbarian Agrius raised their heads, exchanged glances, and then said in unison:

"Damn it—"

Whoosh!

As the black wind of Death, transformed by Hades, swept past, two small, smoke-emitting holes appeared on the foreheads of the two Snake-Footed Giants. The souls of the two Snake-Footed Giants had already been taken by the King of the Underworld. After breaking the curse of immortality, their lives were like flickering candles in the wind before Hades, utterly insignificant.

Rumble! Rumble!

Two Snake-Footed Giants, like mountains, collapsed on the battlefield. The morale of the Snake-Footed Giants completely crumbled.

In all fairness, unlike the Titans who had clashed head-on with the gods for many years, their direct combat ability was indeed weaker than that of the Olympus Gods. It was only by relying on the cheat-like ability of immortality that they could wear down the Gods, whom they couldn't kill.

Aside from this ability, their physical bodies only had two advantages: great strength and great size. They did not possess the extremely high magic resistance or elemental immunity of the Titans, nor did they have the Titans' terrifying defensive and offensive capabilities or magical abilities. Once their immortality was broken, even without the Gods needing to act, the assembled Magicians and warriors could simply overwhelm them with sheer numbers, like ants piling up to kill an elephant.

And from the Deaths of the Stormer and the Barbarian just now, it seemed that this Olympus Champion only needed to injure them once to remove their immortality. The Snake-Footed Giants, being a naturally powerful race, had never undergone training in discipline and courage, which made them feel nothing but terror.

Thus, the Snake-Footed Giants utterly collapsed before the Olympus God Army that included Kratos. They didn't even dare to guard the walls of their divine city, which was directly pulled down by Demeter using the giant tree's roots, allowing the God Army to storm directly into the city.

Throughout this process, Kratos fought bravely, always at the forefront. He clearly understood his role in this War, and therefore did not seek to thoroughly kill every target. He merely struck and moved on, leaving his mark on the Snake-Footed Giants and breaking their immortality, then moving on to his next target, leaving these Giants for those behind him to deal with.

The Snake-Footed Giants retreated steadily, and Alcyoneus, their leader, was also extremely anxious. To shake off Zeus, he even abandoned his greatsword.

However, by the time Alcyoneus shook off Zeus's entanglement and pursuit and returned to the Snake-Footed Giants' divine city, more than half of the Snake-Footed Giants had already been slaughtered. Of the thirteen compatriots of his rank, only Thoon, the "Fleet-footed," remained.

"Thoon!"

Upon seeing his panic-stricken compatriot, Alcyoneus immediately found him and asked, "Where are the others? I told Porphyrion to take you all to block the Underworld Passage behind us. Could it be that Porphyrion and the others were defeated in such a short time?"

"Dead, all dead!"

Found by his leader, Thoon shouted to him in terror, "Porphyrion is dead, Enceladus is dead, they're all dead! A tall demigod, who calls himself Heracles, appeared in the Underworld Passage at some point. He can break our self-healing ability. Whether it was Porphyrion or Enceladus, once he touched them, their wounds couldn't heal anymore. They were both killed by this demigod and Ares!"

"What did you say!" Hearing this, Alcyoneus froze on the spot.
