Chapter 193 - Chapter 193 Put on a little skirt for Mr. Apollo

In the early morning, when the first rays of Helios, God of the Sun, fell upon the ground, Orion had already woken up from his small wooden cabin.

In the current Greek World, people's evening entertainment, apart from drinking, was mostly intimate activities. Orion, first, lived alone deep in the mountains and forests with few friends. Second, he had recently been entangled with a goddess and cursed by that troublesome goddess, so naturally, he couldn't go out to flirt. In the evenings, after eating and drinking his fill, he basically could only sleep. Therefore, Orion, despite his lazy nature, surprisingly maintained a healthy routine of early rising and early sleeping.

He yawned, wrapped the animal hide clothes he had casually thrown by the bed around himself, then walked out of the wooden house to a small river behind the house, washed his face with clear water, and took a sip of water, which served as brushing his teeth.

Then, he came to the side of the house, picked up his giant bow and wooden club leaning there, and incidentally glanced at the branch above his head.

Normally, at this time, that goddess would send one of her messengers to inform him where to gather to go hunting together, but at this time today, he did not see that small and exquisite cute creature on that branch.

"Strange, why didn't she come today? Is she tired of me?"

Being snubbed by the goddess, Orion felt a faint sense of anticipation in his heart. After all, being constantly watched by Artemis made him quite uncomfortable.

However, just as he was thinking this, suddenly, a white dove flapped its wings and flew from the sky, landing on the branch above his head, with a scroll of parchment held in its beak.

This was Artemis's divine beast, like that crimson doe, once captured by the Hunting Goddess but then released, and also received the Hunting Goddess's blessing. It was often used by Artemis to deliver messages, and recently, it specialized in communication with Orion.

"Coo coo." The white dove cooed twice, then dropped the parchment from its beak to Orion. Orion opened it and immediately showed a look of surprise.

"She's going home to accompany her mother and won't be free for a while?"

He muttered to himself,

"Doesn't this mean I'm free?"

"Hooray!"

Orion immediately became as happy as a two-hundred-pound child, cheering and running circles in front of his cabin.

However, while Orion was cheering and jumping, he didn't know that in the small woods next to his house, two divine beings were silently watching him.

"Is that Orion?" Ares looked at the burly giant who was acting like a child in the distance and frowned, "He doesn't seem... very handsome, does he? Does Artemis like this simple type?"

"Yes, sometimes I wonder if something has blinded her eyes." Apollo, acting like an old mother despite being the younger brother, sighed and rubbed his forehead, "Can you believe that such a man would be loved by the Moon Goddess?"

"Hmm, it's certainly very suspicious." Ares stroked his chin, nodding seriously.

Although according to the plot he knew from his previous life, Orion could be considered a true man, things in this world had completely gone awry. Who knew if this Orion had been controlled by Athena? Ares would have to interact with him to truly judge his character.

"Right, right." However, Apollo, who was completely consumed by his sister complex, didn't have as many considerations as Ares. As he spoke, he had already pulled out his golden bow and aimed at Orion in the distance: "As expected, I should just shoot him dead right here—ah!"

Ares withdrew his fist and simultaneously snatched Apollo's golden bow, glaring at him, "Don't cause trouble, I'm telling you, if you kill him directly here, do you believe your sister will turn against you completely?"

Thinking of his sister, Apollo finally relented, albeit sullenly. He whispered,

"Then what should we do?"

"Test him." Ares said without hesitation, "The simplest way to test if he is truly devoted to Artemis is to appeal to his preferences, and then try to change his impression of Artemis. If he doesn't truly love Artemis, he'll be easily swayed by us in a few tries."

"Oh, that's a good idea." Apollo stroked his chin and asked, "But how do we entice him to turn away from Artemis?"

"Doesn't he like women?" Ares replied as a matter of course, "Find a beautiful woman to seduce him."

"Where are we going to find women?" Apollo retorted, "On Olympus, there are only a few goddesses who can compare to Artemis. We can't ask Hera, Demeter, or Themis; they are all Zeus's women... We can't possibly ask Athena, can we?"

Ares thought for a moment: "Why did you ignore Hestia? Do you think she's inferior to Artemis?"

Apollo said nothing, only glaring at Ares.

"Alright, alright, I know you failed to win over our aunt." Ares apologized, then rolled his eyes and said, "Then there's no other way, we'll have to go in ourselves."

"Go in ourselves?" Apollo hadn't reacted yet: "What do you mean?"

"Hehe, don't you like cute boys?" Ares stroked his chin, grinning mischievously at Apollo, "You're so handsome, I think if you slimmed down and dressed up, you wouldn't lose to your sister at all."

Apollo's expression froze, then he retorted, "Why me? You can go too!"

"But I'm not as handsome as you." Ares spread his hands innocently, "Aren't you the most handsome God on Olympus? When it comes to something that requires using one's looks, it's definitely you. I'm a God of War; what do I know about seducing people? Do you think I'm more handsome than you?"

Apollo wanted to refuse, but after thinking about it, he wouldn't admit that Ares was more handsome than him. So, after much deliberation, he still felt that being handsome was more important, and gritted his teeth, "Fine, I'll do it! For Artemis, I'll go all out, Ares, bring me a dress!"

"Wait a moment!" Seeing Apollo nod in agreement, Ares immediately clapped his hands and laughed, "I'll go get you the most beautiful dress right now."

After he finished speaking, he returned to Olympus at his fastest speed, went to the Fire God's Hall, found his elder brother Hephaestus, borrowed a pile of beautiful women's clothing and accessories, and then hurried back to where Apollo was.

During this time, one of his clones also dragged the Moon Goddess out of Hecate's room. Ares himself wouldn't make a man into a cross-dresser, no matter what, he was still a God of War.

But Hecate was different. Although she deliberately made herself look ugly when meeting Zeus, she was still a beautiful goddess, and she knew a little about basic female skills like makeup.

Hearing Ares talk about such an interesting matter, Hecate was no longer sleepy. She enthusiastically took control of this clone of Ares, then took the cosmetics and began to apply makeup to Apollo.
