"But joining forces isn't impossible. If you are truly powerful, show us your strength. Prove yourself to us," Ye Wen said with a cold smile as he watched the battle.
"Control me? Ha! Such arrogance!! Just because you saved me doesn't mean I have to listen to you! Fine! If I show you my power and you're satisfied, will you then join me to destroy the human gods?" the Golden Dragon King thought furiously.
These bastards really want me to fight alone?
"That's right! If you're strong enough, we're not against teaming up," Ye Wen replied.

As the Golden Dragon King roared, his entire aura surged again, reaching its peak intensity as he fiercely battled the five God Kings.
Ye Wen shook his head, a wicked grin on his lips.
That last statement he made to the Golden Dragon King — he hadn't actually lied.
But to earn Ye Wen's approval, the Golden Dragon King would have to be strong enough to hold his own against the Asura God—at least fight to a draw, or even trade blows evenly one for one.
If the Golden Dragon King could truly manage that, Ye Wen wouldn't mind joining him in an all-out war to conquer and subdue the divine realm.
But he knew the Golden Dragon King couldn't do it. He couldn't defeat the Asura God. And Ye Wen couldn't either.
Even with the Golden Dragon King as an ally, their six beast gods would still struggle against the divine realm. Even if they somehow managed to win in the end...
