That was why he had long ago set a jutsu within these Sharingan, whether he was killed in an instant or not.
The moment Danzo died, the Izanagi jutsu would activate on its own.
This was also why, the moment Yuto made his move, he first tore off Danzo's right arm.
Danzo's face bore a rare expression of panic and disbelief as he clutched his right arm, from which blood gushed unceasingly.

Danzo backed away, his gaze on Yuto filled with a mix of terror and bewilderment.

In a way, this card was more tangible than even Shisui's Sharingan.
And yet, the First Mizukage, Yuto, had destroyed one of his trump cards with a single blow. It was clear he had known about it in advance.
But besides himself, no one could possibly have known this. This was precisely why Danzo was so terrified and disbelieving.
However, in the next moment.
The terrified look in Danzo's eyes suddenly flickered with a hint of shock.
A Sharingan?!
Danzo swallowed, his gaze fixed on the Sharingan in Yuto's left eye socket, and his eyelid couldn't help but twitch.
For some reason, the Sharingan in Yuto's eye socket gave Danzo an inexplicable sense of familiarity.
Seeing Danzo's dazed gaze, a corner of Yuto's mouth lifted slightly.
"Curious about this eye? It's a trophy I acquired from Itachi Uchiha."
"And you'd best not try to use Kotoamatsukami on me. With this eye, I can perceive the jutsu clearly."
Yuto pointed a finger lightly at the Sharingan in his eye socket, his expression completely relaxed.
Itachi was dead!
Danzo's body trembled. No wonder he hadn't received any word from Itachi in such a long time.
But then, Danzo suddenly understood why Yuto was here and what his purpose was!
Damn it!
He wanted Shisui Uchiha's other eye!
In an instant, Danzo had pieced together the general sequence of events.
Without a moment's hesitation, Danzo turned and ran in the direction of Hashirama Senju.
Only Hashirama Senju could save him now.
Of course, after piecing everything together, another realization sent an even more chilling terror through Danzo!
The First Mizukage, Yuto, clearly intended to use Shisui Uchiha's eye to control Hashirama Senju!
If Yuto succeeded, Konoha would be completely finished!

Danzo roared, his face a mask of shock, rage, and unwillingness, as he tried to reclaim Shisui's eye.
But how could Danzo, with his own strength, possibly stand up to Yuto?
After easily acquiring Shisui's other eye, Yuto looked at the struggling Danzo in his hand. Without a trace of emotion, he raised his arm and delivered a powerful punch.
The air in front of the fist emitted a sharp sonic boom!
Blood flew everywhere!
A palm-sized hole appeared in Danzo's chest.
The brutal force sent Danzo hurtling backward!
Crack!
The ground suddenly fissured. In the next instant, a massive vine shot up from the earth, wrapping around the flying Danzo and catching him firmly before slowly lowering him to the ground.
Evidently, Hashirama Senju had acted.
Although this location was some distance from where Hashirama was engaged in battle, the explosive aura from Yuto's attack on Danzo had been easily sensed by him.
The only pity was that it had taken Hashirama some time to deal with Yuto's shadow clone.
Otherwise, while Hashirama might not have been able to save Danzo from the attack, he should have been able to catch his body, rather than having to use a Wood Release jutsu to do so.
Unconcerned with the approaching Hashirama Senju, Yuto focused his will, instantly entering a state of Sage Mode.
Without hesitation, Yuto raised his hand and gouged out his own right eye, simultaneously pressing Shisui's other eye into the socket.
"The full power of Kotoamatsukami!"
Yuto closed his eyes slightly, sensing the power of the two Sharingan working in unison.
At the same time, his senjutsu chakra rapidly began to heal the wound in his eye socket.
Using senjutsu chakra to power the two Sharingan would not only allow their ocular power to recover quickly, but it would also elevate the level of the jutsu sealed within them.
A sharp whistling sound tore through the air from ahead.
In a few leaps, Hashirama Senju's figure stood beside Danzo.
Hashirama hurriedly looked at the fallen Danzo, who was breathing out more than he was breathing in, and his expression darkened instantly.
The battle with Yuto's shadow clone hadn't lasted long, but Hashirama had already sensed the problem.
Even knowing that the Yuto before him was a fake, completely eliminating the clone had still taken considerable effort.
The palm-sized hole in Danzo's chest told Hashirama that Danzo was likely beyond saving.

Danzo, whose life force was fading rapidly, also sensed Hashirama's arrival.

Danzo struggled to speak, his face a mask of despair and regret.
Danzo was doing his utmost to warn Hashirama Senju to be wary of Yuto's Sharingan.
Without possessing those eyes, no one could comprehend the terror of the Kotoamatsukami jutsu.
