Chapter 52: Search for Princess
In Capital City Noah,
Emperor throne room,
The Emperor was sitting on his throne and stress was on his face while his mind was somewhere thinking about something. And the room's atmosphere was full of tension. Everyone could see the Emperor's serious look.
One minister asked another minister what the emperor would do about this situation.
The second minister turned his face towards the minister who asked him this question with an irritated look .I don't know and I already told you many times ,so why are you asking me again and again.
I already had many issues to solve after that disaster.
Eight months after the disaster, many armies of the Central Continent came to ask for military training that the emperor did not reject due to pressure from the kings of the Central Continent. If he refused, it would cause another war between the Central Continent and Diamond Heart Continent, and the emperor's hands were tight with upcoming explorations of Beastland and future plans to save the planet. He didn't want to waste time in these useless wars.
And their reason even the Emperor could not reject. They said that they wanted their army to prepare to face the calamity that happened eight months ago if the calamity happened once again.
The storms, tsunami and earthquakes lasted for almost fifteen months and after that everything returned to normal. Many lost their lives but slowly they moved on. This fifteen months was now known as the Second Great Disaster in Duskwild history.
So the emperor did not reject the idea. He was happy to help Central Continent kings so they could save their kingdom people if something happened again. And he knew if their armies tried to do something funny, he would kill all armies without any thought. He had power to do so, so he had no tension at that moment but everything changed now.
After reaching the armies, the Emperor now knew their main objective was to stop a princess, and his fourth son was involved in this work.
His son helped them so they could hide information from him.
The atmosphere was becoming more tense every moment when one of the ministers asked what we do now emperor. And the minister continued, we cannot tell them to leave because in the treaty we have to provide at least three years of training and provide a place to live near Noahheart capital.
The Emperor was now in the corner. When he was thinking about this he got an idea and told everyone.
The Emperor was not sure about the idea but he had no other choice.
How about I send someone to take that princess to the empire capital as a guest of mine. I can also ask from SHO. In the continent there are 41 SHO heroes present.
Quickly one minister responded in an excited tone when he heard the Emperor's idea. He was also involved in this scheme. Emperor, this was a good idea.
This minister's name was Vizer Elderen. He had golden hair and golden eyes and was somewhere in age between late 50s.
He supported the fourth prince and wanted to see him sitting on the throne.
The Emperor watched him. He knew about his involvement in this scheme but ignored him because of his family and then the Emperor said in a serious tone, I knew this was a good idea but the problem was how will we find her.
The princess name was unknown. From which kingdom she was, it was also not known. Why she was running, why all the Central Continent kingdoms wanted her, why everyone wanted to kill her. We did not know anything.
We had many questions and only the princess knew about this. And for going this search we wanted someone that was capable of doing these.
When the throne room got completely silent after the emperor's words, the emperor started thinking again about who would complete this quest efficiently.
After thinking for some time, the emperor found a way to solve these issues, and ordered one of the ministers to summon the fifth commander and third prince.
The minister nodded and left the throne room after bowing toward the emperor to find the fifth commander and third prince as soon as possible.
After some time they both came to the throne room and greeted the king.
And then the third prince asked why the emperor summoned us.
The third prince's name was Cyrus Noahheart and he was the second most powerful prince in this empire. His body was normal and he had red eyes with golden hair. The commander's name was Robin Whitespike wearing black armor that hid his face and only two black eyes were visible.
The emperor saw both of them and said that you both were selected to find a missing princess.
When they both heard this they did not believe they were summoned by the emperor just to find some missing princess.
They did not want to believe the emperor's words and thought that they heard something wrong. The emperor knew that they were both busy with the upcoming raid.
They both were busy training their army and preparing for an upcoming raid that was going to happen on the Beastland Continent.
Now they were here finding some princess.
Cyrus said with a furry look he wanted to know about this decision, "Emperor, I don't want to disrespect you but why did you give us a mission like this?"
Cyrus could not accept missions like these that could divert his attention from his raid. He was preparing for this raid for two years.
When the emperor moved his gaze to Robin he asked the commander, you thought the same commander?"
Robin said politely, yes I also agree with Prince Cyrus.
Then the emperor stopped for one moment and said because you two are most suitable for this.
You both have your personal army that has the largest agent network, even the empire spy network below you, and you can trust with your life. And if you search and do something in the capital, people will not get suspicious and avoid you and no one asks because you are prince and commander.
They could not argue with the emperor's words and then both nodded and left the throne room but Cyrus was irritated by this mission. He had got a chance to lead his army to Beastlands but now he was finding some missing princess that he did not even know the name of.
On the other hand, Commander Robin had no issues with this mission. He only moved for the emperor and the emperor's order was absolute.
They started preparing to search for the princess and left the capital.
After Cyrus and Robin left the throne room, all meetings ended and now the emperor stood from the throne and moved towards his room.
The emperor's room was simple and not much decorated and large. In the centre was a bed and on the bed a woman was sleeping with her body colour slowly turning purple.
The emperor watched the woman and said in a regretful tone, I promise I will save you.
And then moved towards the window watching the sunset. The emperor had a special spell that only his bloodline could awaken after becoming emperor. It can help him to choose the best decision that will help the empire and no one knows about this.
When an emperor was chosen for the empire he had to pledge that he cannot reveal this spell to anyone and this spell was hidden even in their status. No one can see.
And now this spell was alerting him for the first time that something big was going to happen and if he did not stop it his empire would be destroyed.
I had to do something, I had many responsibilities, many lives depended on me. I had to do something.
By saying night came and the emperor was still standing at the window watching his capital Noahheart.
The emperor was right, something will happen to the capital because of the emperor's decision. One mistake that he was going to make in the future that will destroy everything he had struggled to achieve.
And the countdown started for Noahheart capital destruction.
After some days, a soldier came running to the throne room and told the emperor someone was invading the Diamond Heart.
