Chapter 116 - Chapter116:The end of battle.

Chapter 116:The end of battle.

"I am seeing something…"

"That should not exist."

Seraphina did not know what she was doing and thinking.

She even cannot know what she had said one moment ago.

Everything leaves from her mouth without her knowing.

Celestia was also confused.

But did not ask any questions, she was also suffering from issues with vision that came to her mind.

Now in battle with Freya and Maya.

Freya was covered in black mana.

This time, it was not just a thin layer around her body.

Her body was releasing and absorbing every bit of mana from her and her surroundings.

She was risking her life. If she failed, her heart would stop from the immense pressure that she was feeling from using this type of mana.

But she did not care .

All her concern was to erase maya from her existence.

And she started moving towards Maya.

The ground beneath her feet trembled and then completely cracked, from which lava started coming towards the surface.

Her eyes were filled with pure fury.

Without saying another word, she clenched her fist and punched the invisible wall beside her.

Boom.

The entire wall shook violently.

Cracks instantly spread across the invisible wall.

The sound of breaking stone echoed across the area.

Easily heard by Seraphina and Celestia.

Another punch.

Boom.

The cracks widened.

Another punch.

Boom.

This time the wall could not endure it anymore.

The invisible wall shattered.

For one moment in the air, they could see how the wall was destroyed.

But Freya did not stop here.

Her breathing was heavy.

Mana was still bursting out of her body without restraint.

Every step she was taking forced her body one step closer to death.

But she did not care about this.

Her eyes were locked on only one person.

Maya.

Her real target.

Without hesitation, Freya pushed her foot against the ground and shot forward like a cannon.

The ground exploded where she moved, and behind her fountains of lava could be seen.

Her speed was terrifying.

In just a fraction of a second she crossed the distance between them.

But Maya had already noticed.

She watched Freya calmly.

She did not step back.

She did not even raise her guard immediately.

Instead, she simply smiled.

A faint smile.

Cold.

Confident.

Mocking.

She tilted her head slightly and looked at Freya rushing toward her with killing intent.

Then she spoke.

"How stupid you are."

Her voice was calm.

Too calm.

It was the kind of calm voice that only someone completely confident in victory could have.

Freya's eyes burned with even more rage, but Maya continued speaking.

"You know why I am relaxed?"

She raised one hand slowly.

Mana began to gather around her fingers like it was nothing.

"Because you cannot harm me."

The moment those words fell.

Maya released her mana.

It exploded outward like a silent wave.

Dark silver mana surged from inside her body and wrapped around her completely.

The ground beneath her feet cracked.

The air trembled.

A dense layer of mana covered her entire body like invisible armor.

She stood there.

Ready.

Waiting.

Seraphina shouted .

Stop!

She already witnessed how dangerous this invisible force that covers her body is.

But she was late.

Freya did not hear.

She ignored Seraphina's voice completely.

Freya arrived in front of Maya in an instant in the blink of an eye.

Her fist was aimed directly at Maya's face.

The power behind that punch could shatter empires and even destroy a continent.

And then.

Boom.

Both collided.

The moment Freya's punch met Maya's defense, a terrifying explosion erupted.

The shockwave burst outward in all

directions.

The ground was covered in lava.

The impact created a massive wave of force that blasted across the entire battlefield.

Even far away, the shockwave could be felt.

Across the Diamond Heart.

The dust cloud swallowed everything.

For a few seconds nothing could be seen.

Only the sound of collapsing stones and the echo of the explosion filled the air.

Then slowly...

The dust began to settle.

And what it revealed was horrifying.

Freya's body was destroyed.

The right side of her body was completely

gone.

Her arm.

Her leg.

Half of her torso.

All destroyed.

Only the left side of her upper body remained.

Her remaining shoulder twitched slightly as blood poured from the ruined flesh.

Drops of blood fell onto the cracked

ground.

Drip.

Drip.

Drip.

Her body slowly collapsed.

She fell onto the ground with a dull sound.

Her breathing became weaker.

Her vision blurred.

Her body no longer responded to her commands.

She knew.

She understood clearly.

Her time was over.

Freya slowly lifted her eyes.

Her gaze searched through the dust and chaos.

And then she saw him.

Ank.

He was still unconscious.

Freya stared at his face.

For the last time.

Her expression softened.

The rage inside her eyes disappeared.

Only warmth remained.

Then her gaze shifted.

Toward her sisters.

Seraphina.

Celestia.

They were both staring at her.

Frozen.

Their bodies would not move.

Their minds refused to accept what they were seeing.

Everything had happened too fast.

Just moments ago Freya had jumped

forward to attack Maya.

Now she was lying on the ground.

Broken.

Dying.

Their minds could not process it.

Then suddenly both of them moved at the

same time.

They rushed toward her.

Neither of them even looked at Maya.

They only saw Freya.

Seraphina reached her first.

"Freya!"

Her voice trembled.

Celestia dropped beside them immediately.

Both of them knelt beside Freya's shattered body.

Blood covered their hands the moment they touched her.

Celestia quickly pulled out a potion.

Her hands were shaking.

"Quickly... use this potion!"

Her voice was desperate.

"There is still a chance... she can revive!"

Seraphina nodded frantically.

Celestia opened the bottle and poured the potion onto Freya's wound.

The liquid glowed faintly.

But nothing happened.

Freya's body did not heal.

Her breathing did not improve.

Seraphina grabbed another potion.

"Use this!"

Celestia used it immediately.

Still nothing.

Another potion.

Another.

And another.

They used every potion they had.

Revival potion.

Healing potion.

Regeneration potion.

But none of them worked.

Freya's body remained motionless.

"How... how did this happen?"

Celestia's voice trembled.

Seraphina clenched her fists.

Her entire body was shaking.

"Why... why did I let her fight?"

Her voice broke.

"I should have stopped her..."

Tears poured from her eyes.

"Why can't I protect her..."

Her eyes became dull.

Filled with grief.

Celestia sat beside Freya's body.

Her hands were covered in blood.

She stared at her sister's lifeless face.

Tears streamed silently down her cheeks.

"Why..."

Her voice was barely a whisper.

"Why?"

Both sisters sat beside Freya's body.

Broken.

Their cries echoed through the ruined battlefield.

Time passed.

But their tears did not stop.

Until suddenly.

They heard a voice.

A voice they both recognized.

The person who killed their sister.

The person responsible for this.

The person they now hated more than anyone in the world.

Maya.

She was standing not far away.

Watching them.

"I told her before."

Her voice was calm.

Cold.

"She would die."

"But she did not listen to me."

She looked down at Freya's body.

Then spoke again.

"Now see."

"What happened to her?"

Both sisters' heads snapped toward her.

Their eyes were burning with hatred.

"You!"

They shouted together.

Seraphina stood up instantly.

"I will kill you!"

She rushed toward Maya with terrifying speed.

But before Seraphina could reach her.

Celestia moved even faster.

Her fist flew toward Maya's face.

But then.

It stopped.

Only one centimeter away from Maya's face.

Like it had hit an invisible wall.

Celestia's eyes widened.

She tried to push forward.

But her fist would not move.

Maya did not even blink.

"You did not learn from your sister."

She spoke calmly.

Then she raised one finger.

Boom.

An invisible force exploded outward.

Celestia's body was thrown away like a rag doll.

She flew across the battlefield.

Her body disappeared into the distance.

At least 100 kilometers away.

Seraphina froze.

Maya slowly turned toward her.

"And you, Seraphina."

"I thought you were intelligent."

Her eyes narrowed slightly.

"But you disappointed me."

Before Seraphina could react.

Maya moved.

Her hand shot forward.

It pierced directly through Seraphina's chest.

The sound of tearing flesh echoed.

Seraphina gasped.

Her body froze.

Blood spilled from her mouth.

Maya slowly pulled her hand back.

And in her hand.

She held Seraphina's heart.

Still

beating.

Seraphina's eyes widened in shock.

Maya looked at the heart calmly.

Then she tried to pull it out completely.

But suddenly.

Her movement stopped.

Someone had grabbed her hand.

A white figure.

The figure appeared suddenly.

As if it had stepped out from thin air.

The white figure held Maya's wrist firmly.

Stopping her from removing Seraphina's heart.

Maya frowned slightly.

Her eyes narrowed.

The battlefield fell silent.

Then the white figure spoke.

"Maya."

"I cannot believe what mess you created."
