Lu laughed, her voice filled with arrogance and mockery, clearly enjoying every second of this interaction.
Ank simply stared at her without blinking, his eyes cold and filled with irritation as he listened to her nonsense.
He did not like this situation at all. First, it was the system that had already complicated his life, and now this AI had appeared, who seemed to enjoy insulting him while praising herself at every opportunity.
He tried to ask about her origin but she refused and insulted him.
He understands one more trouble added to his life.
He could already feel it.
This AI was not here to help him.
She was here to make everything worse.

After risking his life.

His expression darkened slightly.
"This is not fair."
Ank said.
"How weak you are."
The AI's voice interrupted his thoughts immediately.
She was looking at his status with a mocking smile.
"Now I understand why you need me. You are weak, and without me you would die."
She said this casually, as if stating an obvious fact, not even trying to hide her sarcasm.
Then she added in her mind,
"Pathetic now you understand how I felt when you took everything from me and threw me into worlds filled with beasts."

She crossed her arms.

You have already wasted enough of my time."

Ank snapped, his voice filled with anger.
"You were created to help me. Yes or no?"
Lu paused.
Then slowly smiled.
"You still believe that?"
She laughed softly.
"You and I both know why I was created.
What you are thinking is correct and that only makes my job easier."
Her smile turned darker,she was now looking more dangerous than her previous apperance.
"Now you understand why I am here, so do not disturb me again."
"Okay, bye."
She began to fade.
"Stop!"
Ank shouted immediately.
She stopped halfway, clearly annoyed.
"What now?"
"What is this power level?"
The AI blinked, then looked at him as if she could not believe what she had just heard.
"What? You do not know this? How foolish can you be?"
She stopped vanishing completely and looked directly into his eyes.
"Power level is the universal system used to measure strength across the universe."
"So this is my power level?" Ank asked.
"Yes."
"And why do we need it?"
Lu stared at him for a few seconds before sighing.
"Seriously, even a child knows this."
She began explaining.
"The universe is vast. There are countless species, countless planets, and each one has its own method of measuring strength.
But on a universal scale, all of those systems were useless."
"So, the gods, along with mortals, created a unified system, a power level system that allows strength to be measured across the entire universe."
She paused, then looked at him again.
"And you are telling me you did not know this?"
Ank was silent.
Because it was true.
During his conquest there was no such system.
No ranks.
No levels.
No power level.
There was only one thing.
Strength.
Raw strength.
If you were strong, you ruled.
If you were weak, you were nothing.
Status was only used to identify whether someone was worth keeping alive or not.
That was all.
But now this system.
This power level.
It would
make things easier.
Much easier.
Ank narrowed his eyes slightly.
"So the Universe has changed"
He still did not remember this planet's system properly.
Maybe because of his training.
Maybe because he simply never cared.
Now he had to memorise the Universe System properly .
Because now things are different.
