Keifer's POV
Why isn't she picking up my calls? She's not even talking to me.
Today, I went to her place, but she didn't open the door.
She misunderstood everything.
Should I talk to her father? Yes, I should.
I came out of the house, went to my car, opened the door, and sat inside.
I started driving. I was driving at high speed, so I reached there in a short while.
When I arrived, I got out of the car and knocked on the door.
A maid opened it, and I quickly went inside.
Her father was sitting on the sofa in the hall.I went straight to him.
"Oh, dear, when did you come?" he asked happily.
"Uncle, how is Jay? Where is she?" I asked, sitting beside him.
"She went to the Philippines two days ago," he replied with a confused look.
"Didn't she tell you?" he asked.
"No. Why did she go back there?" I asked.
"She said she had some work in the Philippines," he replied.
"You both usually go together, but you're here. Why?" he added.
"She didn't tell me she was leaving, so…" I replied sadly.
"Did something happen between you two?" he asked.
"Nothing," I replied.
"Oh, she must have forgotten to tell you because she had some important work.
That's what she told me," he said.
"Oh, okay. Thanks, Uncle. I'll leave now," I said, getting up from the sofa.
"Oh, wait. Have lunch or something," he said, trying to stop me.
"No, not now. I can't," I replied, then quickly walked toward the doorway.
I quickly got into my car and started driving toward the place where my private jet was stationed.
I dialed Bella's number and called her.
"Hello, Bella. Get the private jet ready to fly to the Philippines," I said as she answered the call.
"Now? But how can—" she asked.
"Don't ask questions. Just do it right now," I replied sternly.
"Okay," she said, and then hung up the call.
(After a long while)
When I reached there, Bella was already waiting.
"So, is it ready?" I asked.
"Yes, sir," she replied.
An air hostess opened the sliding door of the jet.
I walked forward using the boarding stairs and then went inside.
I sat on my seat. Bella was about to sit beside me, but I stopped her.
"Please don't sit here. I can't sit with anyone else except Jay," I said.
She nodded and went back to her seat.
During the journey, I sat quietly, thinking about Jay.
What would she be doing right now?Does she think something is going on between that girl and me?
(After 4–5 hours)
The plane was about to land, and I felt nervous and excited at the same time.
What will I tell Jay when I meet her?
(When the plane landed)
(At home)
When I reached home, Mumma, Keigan, and Keiren greeted me happily.
"Why didn't you tell us you were coming?" Mumma asked.
"The plan was sudden, that's why," I replied.
"By the way, Mumma, did Jay come to meet you all?" I asked.
"Did she come to the Philippines?" she asked in return.
"Yes, two days ago," I replied, a little shocked.
"But no one told us, and no one has seen her," she said.
"She hasn't come here at all."
"And she didn't inform anyone," she added.
I immediately dialled Angelo's number and called him.
As soon as he picked up, I asked,"Is Jay at home?"
"She's in London. She hasn't returned yet. By the way, why are you asking?" he replied.
"What the hell…," I muttered.
"Jay left London two days ago to come to the Philippines, but she hasn't arrived," I said.
"What? But she didn't tell me," he said.
"Where would she be now?"
