Swoooooo.....!
Ffft, ffft, ffft, ffft!
Fwuuuuuuu.....!
"Hm..., I wonder how long the fall's gonna be and why the heck is so dark in here?"
A sharp feminine voice muttered as the sounds of something falling at a great speed and the rattling of clothes softly echoed through this dark place.
'Hm? That's weird?'
The voice mused in thought as we see a little girl with a soft, peach white skin, emerald-green eyes that seemed to glimmer even in this vast dark space, short red curly that danced vigorously as she fell.
'Is that... magna? I hadn't sensed any when I got in here, but I can feel some coming from...'
The girl who was in fact Ely who squinted her eyelids as she turned her head to her upper left.
'Aha! I knew it!' Ely rejoiced in her mind as she smiled at the spot she was looking at.
To a normal person what Ely was doing might've diagnosed as strange and delusional, but to any cardinal warrior...
"I knew it, there is a source for this string of magna."
Ely exclaimed profoundly as she then turned her whole-body mid fall, crouched it as if she were about to jump and then...
PUUUFF!
She didn't lunge; she didn't fly nor did she bounce on air she instead instantly dashed or teleported to the brightest smallest point of the magna source.
"Fwu, that was close." Ely brushed off as she wiped her hand over her hair and breathed out in relief as she turned her attention towards the brightest point of the magna source.
"Wow, what's that? An... eye?"
Ely mused as her brows furrowed in confusion and her thoughts distorted into countless questions about what she saw.
No cardinal warrior could blame her, because in her eyes which saw and reflected what was before them as clearly as a mirror an eye lain before her.
The eye was of course no regular eye; it shimmered a faint iceberg hue, it took a big ovular shape (12cm diameter and 6cm height), it had royal blue iris that was faintly mixed with a bright yellow color on the outer parts, and its pupil was deep dark blue color.
The faint glow of light shined on what seemed to a wall.
This piqued Ely's interest as she then stretched out her hand to touch the wall, but all of a sudden,
SHHIP!
Durp!
"Ahhh! What the hell?"
SHHIP!
Ely exclaimed in suprise as she looked at the now moving eye that seemed to have focused its attention on her.
'Why the heck is it moving now? Did I trigger some sort of alarm or something?' Ely mused in thought as her brows suddenly flew up and her eyelids widened.
She then thought, 'What if...' as she then stretched her right hand towards the eye and sucked a little of the magna from the atmosphere into her arm only.
This then caused the visible veins in her to glow crimson, but the eye didn't seem to notice anything much or react in any way.
"Oh yah, my arm's covered haha silly me."
Ely chuckled as she rolled up the sleeve of her uniform and suddenly...
DRUP!
"Haha I knew that wou-"
TRIIIP!
BFFFV!
"Aaaah! What the mmmpppphhh!"
No sooner had Ely pulled up her sleeve than did the eye react contracting and expanding its pupil before a burst of blue energy from it hit Ely.
The burst wasn't hard nor soft in fact it felt like nothing because it barely had the energy to push her back.
And if that's the case why did she scream all of a sudden???
Well that was simply because that burst of energy was in fact a burst of magna and well... what it did to her was...
"AHHH! My eyes..."
Ely shrieked out in pain as she then stopped covering her eyes with her hands and what happened to them was...
"MMMMPPH! Dammit, I can't see a thing and stings so bad!"
Her eyes weren't destroyed nor were they imploded or harmed of any sort, no, they had just in fact transformed.
They were now a misty blend of blue, yellow and dim grey hues that floated around in her eyes as if they fake snow molecules dancing in a snow glove.
Ely writhed in pain for a while before suddenly coming to a stop.
She was tired, panting and wanting to cry yet the pain was so awful that it caused her body to respond in the wrong way.
And then she realised something,
'Wait a minute, wasn't I... falling?', she mused in thought as she turned her head to look at the surroundings she could no longer see just as before.
'Oh... right, I can't see shit no more.'
"Mch, I guess this is the end for huh?"
Her realisation also brought upon her much more doubt than she already had when she began this grotesque and confusing mission.
He hope soon drifted into a calm acceptance as she thought that Kian new what he was doing when he sent through the vents on that uncomfortable and worrying mission.
So he naturally had to come nad pick her sooner or later.
A bit of time flew by but it felt long and dazed to Ely who'd soon started to drift off into sleep.
Her eyelids wavered as if she was fighting to stay awake, but this pain that still seizured all throught her body fought back and forced the little girl to sleep from tire of her weeping.
"I'll be... waiting on you... Ki-Kian."
She uttered weakly as she then stretched her hand faintly into the air towards the eye that bluntly stared back at her.
Though it all seemed to be blur in her eyes.
1, 2, 3, 4, and....
Shut!
Her eyes close, her breathe stiffened and calms, her body settles, but she can still do two things at least before she completely drifts and that is listen and think.
"Hmmm, this wasn't him or someone he sent to receive his yearly package."
'Huh, did I just hear so-'
"Well that's not good if it wasn't him then how did this girl get in here...?"
A voice old yet sharp, clear yet scruffy and omni-like mused out which caused Ely's left ear to twitch and jolted here consciousness awake.
'The heck...? I can't open my eyes... my body feels numb... mt senses are mostly gone, but I can definitely hear that voice?'
Ely thought curiously as she then paused her thoughts to hear what more the voice had to say.
"This girl... she's either a spy or a really lucky kid."
'LUCKY?! YOU TELL ME?'
"Kid.... that rings a bell if I remember properly there was another who... who... also got here. Yes, but what the kid like was it a he or she...?"
The voice mused in linger.
'Wo wo wo someone else was here, but didn't he say that there was he who was supposed to come here?'
'Or maybe... the voice is that of an old timer who managed to... ahhh forget it I'm just exaggerating here, but....'
Ely paused here thoughts as a sudden flashback flickered in her mind.
It was Lian amd her at the moment before she completely climbed into the vents back in their cell,"Remember Elianor, the situation's always within my grasp so as long as ive planned for it. Hnhnhn."
Kian chuckled with a deep yet high pitched tone to his chuckled.
These words caused a chill to run down Ely's spine as the voice suddenly burst out once more.
"Aha, he was small, but not that much had something between brown and dark brown skin, he had the most peculiar hair, he had some shiny black though and his eyes... they were cold yet full of sweetness. Ha ha ha too bad I can't remember his name though."
'Kian! Damn it I should'a known that you were related to this somehow.'
Ely's thoughts soon spiralled into an endless conflict of questions that made Ely even more intrigued about what Kian does in his free time and how he does it all so fast.
"Hm hm. Never the less I cannot waste time by trying to reclaim the package from her so I will just use Ścrnir to calm her body and make sure she's in top shape for redelivery."
'Huh? What in the hozzie now?' Ely mused in distress as though she was trying to speak, but she could not.
Soon enough, her body, that was drifting slowly away from the eye began levitate towards the eye as it was repositioned upwards.
"This girl... she didn't scream while she fell. That could only mean she was hear on purpose so... maybe she is a new messenger."
This puzzled Ely further who had no more of a chance to think before a sudden breeze swept over her body.
It wasn't cold nor rough, it was gentle and engulfing, a feeling that didn't feel right nor bad.
And suddenly her eyes shot open, her mouth opened as well and a cold blue hue of light beamed from them.
And a sudden flashback of pictures of moving things, cars, animals and... people.
A man on flames.
Rising water.
An isolated island.
A burst of something, its image hoarse, but strong.
A golden flame.
A red sword.
A crowd cheering.
Groups of monstrous figures.
A shriek loud and horrifying.
A blaze, a roar its shrill yet glass shattering.
A girl lain in mess of veins and flesh.
A red dragon and finally...
A body standing yet missing both arms. It movements were still. Its body seemed drained of all life its head faced up at the sky and its eyes... we're...
"Now then my dear girl, since you're fully healed now..."
Snap!
"I welcome you to the Ender Library."
