Chapter 77 - shopping chaos 2

The giant glass doors of the mall opened, and chaos entered in the form of Sec E.

Jay was already tired before the shopping even started.

Jay: "We're here for prom shopping, not a movie shoot. Why is everyone acting like celebrities?"

Felix, with sunglasses on indoors: "Because we are."

Jay: "You're not. You're a walking headache."

Everyone laughed as Jay grabbed a cart — yes, a cart.

Jay: "This is not for clothes. This is for Eman's snacks and my patience."

Eman, already eating chips: "Too late. Snacks are gone."Jay groaned, "And so is my patience."

Just then, loud arguing voices echoed from the other end of the mall.

Honey: "I TOLD YOU TO PARK PROPERLY!"

Percy: "I DID! YOU JUST CAN'T SEE STRAIGHT!"

Honey: "Oh really? Then explain why your car is halfway on the sidewalk!"

Percy: "That's called style."

Jay blinked. "Oh no."

percy: "babbby let me help you with prom i knew you are missing me "

aries: oh nooo

Seconds later, Percy and Honey appeared — both holding milk teas and both looking ready to strangle each other.

Honey dramatically pointed at Percy. "This man almost made us trend on the news — 'Two idiots crash into donut shop.'"

Percy crossed his arms. "At least I'd look cool in the photo."

Honey rolled her eyes. "You'd look like a disappointment."

Jay facepalmed. "They're worse than us."

Keifer smirked, sliding his hand into Jay's pocket casually. "No one's worse than us."

Jay looked down. "Watson, why is your hand in my pocket?"

Keifer: "Making sure you don't run away from me again."

Jay: "I'm not five!"

Keifer: "You act like it."

Jay: "Do you want to be hit?"

Keifer: "Only if it's by you, Mrs. Watson."

Rory coughed loudly, laughing. "And the flirting starts again!"

Honey tilted her head. "Did I miss something or are they actually—"

Percy interrupted. "Dating? Obviously. Look at his face. That's the 'I'll fight anyone who touches her' face."

Keifer smiled faintly. "You're not wrong."

Jay blushed so hard she hid behind a hanger.

Percy added, "We heard there was drama and free entertainment, so here we are."

Jay laughed. "Great. Just what we needed — audience members."

Eren walked in right after, looking slightly exhausted but relieved.

Rory smirked. "So, Romeo, girlfriends sorted?"

Eren sighed. "Yup. I'm going alone. Peace over problems."

Felix: "Finally! A sane decision."

Inside the men's section, total disaster.

Clothes flying, boys arguing, someone already trying on sunglasses.

Rory held up two jackets. "Jay, which one makes me look less like I lost a bet?"

Jay sighed. "The one that doesn't blind me."

Felix came running with a shiny blue shirt. "Jay! This one?"

Jay blinked. "You're not going to a disco, Felix."

Felix groaned. "Then what am I supposed to wear? Sad colors?"

Cin shouted from the other side, "Jay! Check this tie—does it scream prom?"

Jay turned. "It screams help me, I'm lost in the men's section."

Everyone burst out laughing.

Meanwhile, the couples were much calmer.

Aries was matching ties with Ella.

Calix and Mica were quietly picking outfits together

.Edrix kept blushing every time Freya showed him something.

Cin and Rakki were taking selfies instead of shopping

.Mayo was already letting Kit fix his collar.

Jay looked at all of them and muttered, "So basically, love makes people useless."

Eman laughed. "Then you're doomed, Jay."

She raised an eyebrow. "What's that supposed to mean?"

Before he could answer, a voice from behind spoke — low, teasing, and very familiar.

Keifer: "Means I've been waiting twenty minutes, and my stylist is busy helping everyone except me."

Jay turned and saw him leaning near a display, two suits both black

Jay sighed. "You've been standing here doing nothing?"

Keifer smirked. "No, I've been standing here missing you."

Cin from a distance: "AWWWW."

Jay threw a hanger at him.

Jay crossed her arms. "You could've at least tried one on."

Keifer shrugged. "I was waiting for your opinion. You have good taste."

Jay: "Flattery won't save you."Keifer leaned a little closer, his grin soft. "It might."

Keifer held up two ties, both almost identical. "Help me."

Jay: "They're literally the same color."

Keifer: "No, this one's called 'midnight black' and this one's 'obsidian black.'"

Jay: "They're both black."

Keifer grinned. "So you're saying I'll look good in anything.

"Jay blinked. "I said nothing like that."

Keifer: "You didn't have to."

Felix called from the other side, "She totally did!"

Jay: "Felix, shut up!"

Keifer chuckled, leaning in a little. "You're cute when you're mad."

Jay, blushing, whispered back, "You're annoying when you talk."

Keifer: "Then I'll whisper."

Jay: "Keifer—"

Before she could finish, he leaned close, brushing his nose lightly against hers

.Keifer: "Fine. I'll behave… later."

Jay turned away quickly, cheeks red. "You're impossible."

Keifer smirked. "And yet, you're still here."

keifer went to wear suit and came outside . jay cant take her eyes off him for her it was like he was only present there

keifer: how am i looking

Jay: " You'll look… fine."

Keifer: "Just fine?"

Jay rolled her eyes. "Okay, you'll look dangerously good. Happy?"

Keifer smiled wider. "Very."

He bent down slightly and whispered, "You know, when you say things like that—"

Jay: "Keifer."Keifer chuckled. "—I fall a little more."

Jay turned red. "You're impossible."

"Maybe," he said softly, brushing a strand of her hair behind her ear. "But I'm yours."

Jay blinked, completely frozen. "We're in a mall."

Keifer: "And?"

Jay: "And there are people."

Keifer: "Then they can learn what love looks like."

Before she could reply, he leaned forward and gave her a quick peck — just a tiny one, fast and secret — but enough to make her heart skip.

Rory, who obviously saw, gasped loudly. "DID YOU JUST—?!"Jay: "RORY!"Keifer covered Rory's mouth with one hand. "No, he didn't."

Felix ran up. "What didn't he do?"

Jay: "Nothing! Everyone go back to shopping!"

The boys scattered, laughing like crazy.

Keifer looked proud of himself. "You're red."

Jay glared. "You're dead."He smiled. "Then at least I died happy."

After that, Jay spent the next half hour helping the rest of Sec E pick their outfits — though she kept shooting glares at Keifer every time he smirked at her.

Yuri, meanwhile, watched them from across the section, silent as always but definitely not amused.

Percy leaned toward Honey and whispered, "You see that? That's jealousy. Classic Yuri move."

Honey grinned. "This prom's gonna be wild."

Finally, when everyone finished choosing their clothes, Jay slumped into a seat near the counter.

Jay: "I'm officially tired."Keifer walked up, dropping his bag beside hers. "Tired, huh?"

Jay: "Yes. From being your personal stylist."

Keifer smiled. "Then let me make it up to you."

Jay raised an eyebrow. "How?"

Keifer: "Ice cream. My treat."

Jay grinned. "Deal."

The rest of Sec E cheered. Shopping was done, teasing was endless, and chaos — as always — followed them wherever they went.

And as Keifer held the door open for Jay,

Rory whispered to Felix, "He's totally whipped."

Felix snorted. "More like in love."

blaster: "Whipped? He's basically folded, sealed, and mailed to her."

Eman, eating ice cream beside them, nodded seriously. "At least he's the classy type of whipped."

The girls' section of the mall looked like a battlefield made of glitter, silk, and chaos. The moment Sec E stepped in, the noise level hit the roof. Dresses shimmered on racks, perfume filled the air, and someone — probably Felix — had already started a mini photoshoot with a mannequin.

The girls were busy trying on their own dresses. Freya chose a silver gown, Ella a pale blue one, Mica a lavender dress, and Rakki was in pure white. All of them looked stunning.

Jay: "Why do all of these look like disco balls?"Freya: "Because it's prom, not a battlefield."Jay: "Same thing for me."

Freya held up a bright red backless dress and grinned. "This one. You'll look hot."

Jay blinked at the dress — all sparkly and way too revealing for her comfort.

Jay: "Uh, Freya, I think you gave me someone else's personality by mistake."

Freya: "Come on! You'd look amazing in this."

Rory, who was nearby, laughed. "Jay, come on, it's prom! You can't wear something you could fight in."

Jay glared. "I can and I will."

mica stepped closer, the calm voice in the storm. "Freya, maybe let her pick what she's comfortable in."

Aries crossed his arms, about to say something protective, "Jay's not wearing—"

But Ella quickly put a hand on his shoulder and whispered, "Baby, let her wear what she wants. She's grown up."

Aries froze, grumbling quietly. "Still don't like it."

Jay gave her a small grateful smile. "Thanks, Ella."

Keifer, who had been standing nearby pretending to scroll on his phone, was watching her the whole time. He leaned on the wall, smirking.

Keifer: "Wait here."

Jay: "Where are you going—"

He disappeared for a second and came back holding another red dress — this one simpler, with soft sleeves and a slight shimmer. It still made her look stunning but didn't cross her comfort line.

Keifer handed it to her. "Try this. Still red, still beautiful, but more… you."

jay rolled her eyes but couldn't hide her smile. "You're seriously unbelievable."Keifer: "And yet, you still listen to me."

She sighed dramatically and took the dress. "Fine. But if I look bad—"Keifer: "You won't."

Jay walked into the trial room while Keifer leaned against the wall, waiting with that teasing smirk never leaving his face. The rest of Sec E boys were lounging on the couches, eating ice cream, pretending not to stare toward the changing area but obviously listening.

Rory: "Bro looks like a guard dog."

Felix: "Nah, a lovesick one."

Keifer just threw a spoon at them. "Shut up."

Yuri sat a little away from the group, scrolling through his phone — but the wallpaper on his screen showed something that made it hard to breathe for a moment. It was Jay, in a white wedding dress — the photo from a day long gone, before everything had changed. His jaw clenched slightly as he locked the screen again.
