Her heartbeat steadied.
Stronger.
Trying.
Fighting.
Yuri exhaled shakily, a sad smile forming.
"You really are impossible to kill, Jay."
He leaned back, whispering—
"Come back. He needs you more than the world needs oxygen."
Jay's eyelashes fluttered—And slowly… painfully…
She began to wake.
Keifer sat alone in the private room, the walls too white… too silent… too empty without her.
Everyone had come and gone—angelo hugging him like a brother before breaking down, jashfer unable to speak through his sobs, Jeana crying into gemma's arms, the girls shaking, Angelo and Rafael forced to drag them all home.
But Keifer didn't look at anyone.
He didn't hear anyone.
He didn't feel anyone.
Only Jay.
Jay laughing while climbing that stupid coconut tree.
Jay stuffing fries in her mouth like a child.
Jay sulking over Lencho in the cafeteria.
Jay whispering "happy new year" before kissing him.
Jay blushing when she finally said she'd be his girlfriend.
Memories stabbed deeper than Yuri's blade ever could.
His chest heaved.
She's alive.
He could feel it.Somewhere inside the madness, his soul screamed it.
But the world kept saying she was gone.
And he couldn't… he couldn't do this again.Not losing another woman he loved.Not again.
His fingers trembled as he picked up the surgical knife from the tray.
He stared at the blade.
Cold.
Sharp.
So easy.
He pressed it to his skin.
A line of red appeared.
Then another.
His breath broke, his shoulders shaking uncontrollably.
"I can't… I can't do this without you, Jay…" he whispered, tears falling freely now—ugly, raw, feral sobs tearing out of him.
He pushed the blade deeper.
Everything blurred.
His pulse roared in his ears.
He lifted the knife again, ready to slice deep—
And then—
Voices.
The hallway shook with voices.Percy's shout split the silence first.
"YOU'RE A BETRAYER!"
Aries grabbed his arm, fury trembling through him."Percy, stop—"
But Percy shoved him off and stepped forward, eyes bloodshot, chest heaving.
Yuri froze mid-step in the empty hospital corridor, hoodie pulled up, trying to stay invisible—until Percy's voice slammed into him like a knife.
"YOU—" Percy hissed. "You manipulator. You always betray people! You did the SAME THING four years ago and blamed it on Aries!"
Yuri stiffened.Aries' eyes fell to the ground, jaw clenched.
"You put her in a FORCED MARRIAGE!" Percy's voice cracked under grief. "she was the one who suffered—she FORGAVE you! And now you—YOU—"
Yuri stepped back, guilt flashing across his face.
"And now—" Percy's voice wavered, breaking, "Jay… Jay is gone because of your side. Because of the people you CHOSE."
Before Yuri could speak, another voice cut through the hallway like a blade.
Keifer.
Barefoot, hospital gown half open, stitches peeking through—eyes hollow, red, furious.
He walked toward them like a ghost made of pure rage.
"YURI."
Yuri's throat closed. "K-Keifer—"
Keifer didn't let him finish.
He punched him.Straight to the jaw.Hard enough to slam Yuri into the wall.
Percy didn't stop it.Aries didn't stop it.No one wanted to.
Yuri coughed blood, chin trembling—but he didn't fight back.
Until Keifer shouted—
"YOU KILLED HER! YOU HELPED THEM—YOU LET JAY DIE!"
"NO!"Yuri exploded, punching Keifer right back, eyes wet, voice breaking."I am NOT a manipulator and I didn't kill Jay!"
Percy lunged forward, shoving Yuri against the wall.
"You let Kaizer escape. You let her be taken. You LET HER DIE!"
Aries' voice cracked as he stepped in, tears sliding down his cheeks.
"And YOU—" he pointed at Keifer, voice trembling with grief,"IT HAPPENED BECAUSE OF YOUR FATHER. Because of that monster, I LOST MY SISTER!"
" Keifer hissed, shaking with fury.
Aries didn't hesitate.
"My baby sister is DEAD because of your bloodline."
Keifer's rage snapped.
"AND YOU—" he shouted back, fists shaking, "the one who didn't accept your SISTER for 15 YEARS—now suddenly you care?!"
Aries flinched like he had been hit.
aries continued, voice raw and wild,"STOP BLAMING ME FOR EVERYTHING! You blamed me four years ago too—when it was Percy who PUSHED me so anyone of us could live!"
Percy's voice broke completely."STOP BRINGING THAT UP! "
And just like that—
All four of them finally snapped.
Not thinking.Not caring.Not breathing.
Four broken hearts exploding at once.
Keifer swung again.Yuri blocked it, tears spilling.Percy grabbed Yuri's collar, screaming through sobs.Aries struck Keifer in the chest, shouting Jay's name.
The hallway echoed with fists, cries, shouts, and years of buried guilt—four boys trying to drown their grief with pain because it was the only thing that made them feel alive.
The hospital hallway echoed with raw pain—four people drowning in guilt, regret, self-hatred.
The fight only got uglier.
Keifer slammed Yuri into the wall so hard the tiles cracked. Percy grabbed Yuri by the collar and threw him across the hallway. Aries' voice was hoarse from yelling, his eyes blood-red.
"You LIED FOUR YEARS AGO! i still thought of forgiving you but now because of you my sister is not here YOU RUINED EVERYTHING!" Aries roared, punching Yuri again.
"I DIDN'T LIE!" Yuri shouted back, wiping blood from his lip. "I didn't kill Jay! I didn't want ANY OF THIS!"
Keifer snapped.
"DON'T—DON'T SAY HER NAME!" He roared like an animal and charged again, tackling Yuri to the floor. Punch after punch landed—wild, unrestrained, fuelled by pure heartbreak.
Yuri yelled back, "I TRIED TO SAVE HER!"
Aries' fist collided with Yuri's ribs. "If you tried—WHY IS MY SISTER DEAD?!"
Keifer's voice shattered, raw and shaking:
"She CHOSE to save ME. And YOU—" he pointed at Yuri with shaking fury, "YOU stabbed me. YOU made her choose!"
Yuri shoved himself up, bruised and furious. "I DIDN'T MEAN TO KILL HER! I—"
"SHUT UP!" Keifer charged again
Aces tried again—
"STOP—YOU'LL GET KICKED OUT OF THE HOSPITAL!" Michael shouted, pulling Keifer back by his waist.
But Keifer shoved him off.
"No!" he screamed, voice shredded. "NO ONE IS STOPPING THIS!"
Percy tore free again, blood dripping from his nose. "I won't stop until he pays!"
Aries' voice cracked. "I LOST HER AGAIN! AGAIN!"
Their fists lifted—
But suddenly—
Everything froze.
A cold breeze cut through the heated hallway.
Soft steps echoed.
And a voice—
Soft. Weak. But unmistakably hers.
"…STOP."
Every head whipped around.
Keifer's heart stopped beating.
Aries' fists loosened.
Percy staggered back like he'd been shot.
Yuri froze mid-breath.
There she was.
Jay.
Standing barefoot on the hospital floor, hair messy, hospital gown too big, IV needle still taped to her hand. Eyes half-open, legs shaking—but she was awake.
Alive.
Her voice trembled.
"Please… stop fighting…"
Keifer's entire body collapsed—not physically, but emotionally. His knees gave out.
Aries' mouth opened in shock, no sound coming.
Percy's hands began trembling violently.
Yuri's eyes filled with tears he tried to hide.
Jay swallowed, breath uneven.
"I'm… right here."
Silence.
And then—
The world exploded again, but this time with emotion.
