Jax was rushing toward the academy. He had given a hasty farewell back at Sianna's duchy. On the single mention of him being late for his class, Sianna prepared her own personal carriage for him to leave.
Jax really liked the ride. It was carried by a Pegasi at the center while four abyssal hounds dragged from the sides. The thing was insanely fast. He didn't know that just mentioning needing a carriage would get one handed over to him without a word of protest.
But that ride surely made the journey quicker than it had any right to be.
Back at the academy gates, no guard dared to stop him. They knew him very well by now over the past month. The man who bullied noble kids, humiliated kings, and treated the academy like his personal playground wasn't someone you asked for identification papers.
