Chapter 235: Tiandou Academy
After a few rounds of using soul coins to clear a path, Ning Bei successfully found out where the dean of Tiandou Academy resided.
After winding through several alleys, he arrived in front of a luxurious-looking mansion. The sign on the gate read "Water Mansion."
"Water? Could it be connected to that little Ice Phoenix girl?"
Ning Bei didn't think too much about it and directly knocked on the mansion's door.

Ning Bei nodded at the two younger women, acknowledging them, and then saluted the two older women in front.
"Junior Ning Bei, I have some matters I'd like to discuss with the seniors."
The older women gave Ning Bei a thorough look before welcoming him inside. They had tea brought to him and invited him to sit.
"I'm Shui Xinrou, the head of the Shui family and the dean of Tiandou Academy. This is my sister, Shui Yurou. Feel free to discuss whatever it is you need with us."
After the introductions, Ning Bei felt somewhat relieved. It seemed like these were the decision-makers, so his trip wouldn't be in vain.
Shui Bing'er and Shui Yue'er looked at Ning Bei curiously, unsure of why someone so skilled in ice magic would come to talk with their mother.
After organizing his thoughts, Ning Bei spoke.
"Senior Shui, may I ask if you've ever heard of the legend of the Ice God?"
"Ice God!"
The four women of the Shui family gasped in surprise, their lips parting slightly.
"Why do you mention the Ice God, little brother? Our Shui family is an ancient family, and we have a legacy of ice-type martial spirits. We do have some records on the Ice God, but the ancient Ice God should have perished long ago."
Ning Bei secretly sighed in relief. It was much easier now that they had some knowledge of it. It was better than explaining everything from scratch, starting with what gods are.
"I'm not worthy, but I have inherited the position of the Ice God. The reason I came to the Shui family is that I need your assistance with something."
"Ah!"
Shui Xinrou and the three other women all gasped. They only knew a little about gods, but they didn't expect to meet one in person. Shocked, they even changed the way they addressed Ning Bei.

They finally reached the back mountain. Ning Bei looked around the wide open space, while Shui Xinrou and Shui Yurou exchanged curious glances.
Ning Bei understood what they were thinking—since the identity of the Ice God had been revealed, they likely wanted to verify if what he had said was true. After all, everything about the Ice God had only been Ning Bei's word.
The two women had agreed to his request, probably to confirm the truth for themselves. If Ning Bei had been lying, they would have shown him what it meant to mess with women.
Ning Bei's lips curled into a smile, and now was the moment to impress them.
