"Thank you all for your efforts," I exclaimed.
They all bowed slightly with a smile on their face, as they marched out of the office one by one.
I was left alone with Yichem. He stood up, walking towards me with casual grace. He stopped in front of me and gently brushed a stray strand of hair from my face.
"You look exhausted, Madam CEO," he murmured as he used his napkin to wipe the sweat from my forehead, and I chuckled.
"I wished I had slept in more." I drawled lazily, exhausted to the core.
He suddenly circled my desk and stood right before me as he turned my chair to face him. I tilted my head with curiosity, and before I could say anything, he scooped me into his arms.
"Yichen! We are at the office!" I snapped, hitting his chest.
He chuckled, visibly amused. But he didn't budge, he walked steadily to the sofa and lay down with me on his chest, the couch big enough to accommodate us–well, only me.
But he didn't look a bit bothered about it.
