Serena and Kiro soon returned to the hut just as Theo was checking the smoked meat. Kiro immediately ran over to the tiger beastman while Serena headed inside the hut to prepare her basket for a trip to the river.
Except for some clothes and fur towels, everything was technically in her subspace. However, she couldn't just pull things out from thin air, so she had a daily ritual of placing them in her basket and then returning them to her subspace when she was done.
Normally, they'd go bathe right before sun set or in the evening, depending on how busy they were, but Kiro had managed to somehow get himself covered head to toe in mud.
Thus Serena was going to need to wash his hair now, so the sun could help dry his hair. Otherwise, even with a fur towel, Kiro was likely going to land up going to bed with damp hair at least.
