Chapter 193 - Chapter 193: First Affiliate (1)

Shinsa-dong, Seoul

Workers 1st Affiliate, The Grim Plastic Surgery Hospital.

The Allied crew members stood in the parking lot.

"To think we'd be back here again," one of them murmured.

Vin Jin looked at the Grim Plastic Surgery Hospital. "This is the place, right? The place where Jihan Kwak's GPS was last captured?"

Daniel nodded. "We've confirmed it. The 1st Affiliate should be here." He pulled out his phone and checked once more. "Let's split up. It won't be efficient to search for the 1st Affiliate all together."

Vin Jin clicked his tongue. "Will we be able to find it?"

"We have to," Daniel said, nodding. He turned to the large building. "We can't wait for Jihan Kwak any longer. We need to find the 1st Affiliate ourselves."

Vin Jin walked forward, his hands in his pockets. "Everyone, you heard Daniel Park, right? Report anything suspicious you find."

Daniel chuckled. "You will also join us in the search."

He turned to Vasco and Zack. "Vasco and Zack, please handle the parking lot."

Vasco immediately crouched down and started looking under an ambulance.

"Why are you searching there, you idiot!" Zack shouted.

"Our enemies is the Workers. There might be a hidden passage underneath," Vasco said seriously.

Daniel turned to Jay and Hudson. "Hudson and Jay will cover the area around the building."

Hudson nodded and turned to Jay. "I'll take this side."

Jay didn't say anything. "..."

"Was that your answer?" Hudson asked, confused.

Daniel and Vin Jin walked inside the hospital. "Vin Jin and I will search the interior of the hospital."

Vin Jin groaned. "Searching among these bunch of plastics is too straining, isn't it?"

"They are humans, not plastic," Daniel sighed.

---

Half an hour later, Daniel and Vin Jin stood on the stairs, gasping for air.

"We can't find it," Daniel said heavily. He wiped his sweat. "What the heck is going on? The GPS indicates it's right here!"

"Why are we the only ones running around?! We've been searching every damn staircase! What if it's not on the ground floor?!" Vin Jin snapped.

Daniel's mind clicked. "Is it similar to the 2nd Affiliate?" He immediately turned to Vin Jin. "Call the guys."

"I don't have their number, stupid," Vin Jin said, annoyed.

"We are going to the basement," Daniel said.

"What?" Vin Jin was confused by the sudden decision.

Daniel pulled out his phone and showed the GPS tracking to Vin Jin. "If it's not the basement, there's no answer."

---

Another half an hour later.

"Didn't you say the GPS signal is coming from the basement?! We've searched every corner and there's nothing here!" Vin Jin shouted in Daniel's face.

He scratched his head. "This is tiring, Daniel."

"Oh, I need a breather," Zack said, exhausted.

Behind them, Hudson and Jay were also tired.

"It's been over an hour now... There's definitely nothing here in the basement..." Vasco continued.

Zack sat down on the ground, sweat falling from his face. "Daniel, be honest... You don't know how to read the GPS, right...?"

Hudson stood against a pillar. "It's futile to continue like this. Is Jihan Kwak in a situation where he can't make a call?"

Jay stood beside him, looking tired too. "..."

"Wasn't he going to tell us the location," Hudson continued.

"I SAID ANSWER ME, YOU FUCKING IDIOT! YOU CAN'T ANSWER BECAUSE YOU'RE EMBARRASSED, RIGHT?! WE WENT AND SEARCHED THROUGH EVERY FLOOR! WE'RE GOING TO DIE OF EXHAUSTION BEFORE EVEN THE FIGHT!" Vin Jin continued shouting at Daniel.

Daniel looked at the GPS location on his phone. "That's not right though... It's showing that he is right here though..."

Suddenly his phone rang. It was Jihan Kwak. He immediately answered.

"Hello?"

It wasn't Jihan's voice, but Daniel still knew it. It was Alexander Hwang, the ex-president of the Workers' 4th Affiliate. After it was destroyed, he was captured by the 3rd Affiliate. After that was destroyed, he was captured by the 1st Affiliate.

Daniel had seen him when Jihan sent photos of the 1st Affiliate executives. He had asked Jihan to contact Alexander for help. Now it was coming in handy.

"...Okay, I got it. So Jihan has been caught..."

"There's no time. After Jihan was caught, the security became stricter. You guys have to come quickly before I get caught too," Alexander whispered.

"We know that as well. But we don't know how to get there," Daniel said.

"Don't worry about that part. I'll tell you how. Listen well. How to get in here is..." Alexander whispered.

Daniel smiled in defeat. "They really got smart with this one."

---

Daniel stood surrounded by bodies. "Everyone come out."

The ambulance door opened. Vasco, Zack, Hudson, Jay, and Vin Jin walked out.

"I didn't expect that the 1st Affiliate was in fact behind the hospital. Not only that, to access it, one have to get on a two way elevator. Damn! How much money must have it cost..." Zack murmured.

Hudson looked at the surroundings. "-100 points for the gloominess."

"What? Are you rating an enemy base?" Vin Jin picked his ear.

Daniel looked at Jibeom sitting in the driver's seat of the ambulance. "We'll call you if we find Jihan."

Jibeom gave a thumbs up with a shiny smile.

Daniel turned to the Allied members and sighed. "Let's go. No time to dawdle. Workers 1st Affiliate, let's begin their scrapping."

Dozens of Workers rushed at them.

"Who the hell are you?!"

"Looks like trespassers!"

As they reached Hudson, he put his left leg in front, clenched his right fist, and grabbed it with his left hand. When the enemies came in front of him, Hudson clenched his teeth and threw a punch.

The punch connected with one of the enemies. His body flew and connected with four others. With just one single punch, five members of the Workers were sent flying back.

Hudson coldly murmured, a red glint in his eyes. "Go home and be a family man."

Jay blitzed through another five members of Workers, his strikes so fast that they created afterimages. Blood splattered from the Workers' faces, painting the tiles red. "Help Daniel... Can I do that?"

Vin Jin was casually playing with the Workers. He grabbed one by the face and squeezed it. "Let's see. You're not him." With that he threw him away. Vin Jin repeated the same thing with four more members, casually throwing them back. "Where the fuck is that bastard? Taejin Cheon, show yourself~"

Yes, Vin Jin was searching for Taejin. Even though Vin Jin had previously expressed that he wouldn't go out of his way to find Taejin and beat him, now that the opportunity had served itself, there was no way he would miss it.

Four Workers jumped at Zack and punched him, while two other members punched him from behind. But they couldn't even budge him.

"What...? What the hell...? He is not even moving!" one of them murmured.

The Workers attacked once more, but Zack weaved through them, punching them in the face, splattering blood. Within a few seconds, he had taken down six Workers.

Zack was here on a mission—to find Johan. After that day, he had lost contact with Johan, who had finally returned to his normal self. Zack couldn't let him get tangled in any kind of mess anymore. This time, he would protect him.

Vasco grabbed a Worker by the ankle, used him like a weapon, and smashed him onto four others, sending all of them flying. "I shall find all evil and defeat them."

He tossed the Worker member aside.

Daniel saw all this. "...Good. Everyone worked hard. The first floor of the basement is clear."

Just then he sensed someone behind him. He turned back and moved to punch.

"It's me, Daniel Park!! I am Alexander Hwang, the person you bought chicken for!!" Alexander raised his hands in surrender and shouted, obviously frightened.

Seeing Daniel stop, he continued. "It's been a while! You came to save me, didn't you?!"

"Of... Of course," Daniel nodded.

"As expected, you're a good person, Daniel Park!" Alexander shouted excitedly.

Zack approached Daniel. "What's up with this person?!"

"Is he an enemy?" Vasco also asked.

Daniel turned to them. "Everyone, say hi." He introduced Alexander. "This is Alexander Hwang. He's gonna help us from now on."

"Alexander Hwang? You mean the guy who used to be with the 4th Affiliate?!" Zack asked.

"This is no time to dwell on the past. Alexander Hwang is going to guide us through this place," Daniel said.

Vin Jin clicked his tongue. "You're telling us to trust a former member of the 4th Affiliate? Do we really lack people that badly?"

"Seriously," Zack agreed.

"What can this punk do for us?" Vin Jin continued.

"Who knows? Eat?" Zack answered.

"Does he have a map or something?" Vin Jin asked.

"But he's not holding anything?" Zack shrugged.

"You're asking what I can do for you?" Alexander smiled.

"That punk's smiling," Vin Jin clicked his tongue.

"Should we beat him up?" Zack asked.

Alexander suddenly threw away his T-shirt, revealing his tattooed body. He showed his back and asked, "Do you still think I am useless now?"

"That... That's?" Daniel was surprised.

"Your back. So what?" Vin Jin completed his sentence.

"I told you, let's beat him up," Zack cracked his knuckles.

"Alexander Hwang, why are you showing off your back?" Daniel sighed.

"Hoho. This isn't just any back. Look at my tattoo. A robot vacuum cleaner cleans all corners. And its route is recorded by an app," Alexander chuckled.

Vin Jin looked closely at the tattoo. "Wait! Fuck, what is this? This is the floor plan of the building?!"

"This is it! With this, we can find Jinyoung Park easily! Let's go!" Daniel nodded excitedly.
