[MINDLOCK DEACTIVATED]

This was all I could see or view with my blurred vision, as I felt the darkness closing in on me. God's! It felt awful, as the darkness which seemed like a black sludge was going in my nose and mouth just like those videos,
but stopped at the last possible second.
Remembering the time when I had watched a certain video, when my friends told me that it was going to be the most beautiful drama I could ever see in my entire life.
And yeah! it was somewhat beautiful, since those bastards couldn't afford to get atleast a good copy.
"....Shit!!"
The moment I tried to balance myself in that darkness, I found it odd. Very odd.
Gathering every last bit of my strength,
I tried to or tried.
Flapping my arms like a penguin, just to correctly stabilize my body which was swirling crazily in that black slush.
But.
I noticed that something was wrong. My left side felt lighter—too light.
The realization came bloody late.....as I noticed that there was an absence of a particularly important thing.
My throat tightened as the late realization came crawling in.
"No...no no no "
Tearing through the slushy resistance, I yanked my right arm towards my left side. Just too feel something. To tell myself that it was just my arm going numb from that pathetic attempt of a fight.
My fingers brushed past against something, the place where my arm should have been, felt.
Soft,
And beneath the rubbery surface.
A hard interior.
Not connected like it should have been,
But slightly floating from the loosened sides.
It didn't take long to figure out what had happened.
My left arm wasn't just gone. It was destroyed.
A drowning groan torned out of my throat.
I could feel it now, the delayed pain flooding in like molten fire in the darkness. Every nerve screamed as it tried to understand, what had just been severed from it.
Feeling exhausted, I just clutched my left arm as my body swirled.
The moment I thought I could just stay floating for some time. Even the fleeting moment of relaxation vanished.
The liquid void vanished in an instant.
THUD—!!!
My entire body slammed onto a solid ground.
The impact tore the scream out of my lungs, the pieces of shards that I had forgotten, again pierced my back with the same intensity. My skull slammed against the ground so hard stars burst behind my eyes.
And then.
CRACK—!!!!
A sound entered my ears first.
When I opened my eyes, I wasn't even in an museum or hell it didn't even look like the apocalyptic mess i was fucked off to.
Now I was lying on something cold yet soft.
Rolling my eyes to the side to get a better view of my new hell, I was horrified.
Corpses.
Dozens… no, hundreds of them, stacked and scattered like thrown dice across the crimson field. The ground squelched when I tried to move, every motion accompanied by that nauseating sound of flesh sinking into red muck.
Above me, a sky stretched wide and.....beautiful, galaxies spun lazily in colors no human eyes could hope to see. It was beautiful and horrifying all at once.
And then.
CRACK—!!!
That same sound again, loud enough to jolt me upright despite the pain shooting through my destroyed arm. I turned towards it.
—And seeing the scene my stomach twisted.
The Abysswalker lay there, the same monstrous thing that had toyed and shredded me like paper. Its enormous body was sprawled across the corpses, black blood leaking out and flowing on the crimson ground and steam rising from the wounds.
But the true horror wasn't it.
It was the man sitting on its chest.
He looked almost human...almost.
Barefoot, pale skin glinting faintly under the galactic light, hair matted with blood. His hands were drenched up to the wrists, wearing a shredded trench coat and in one of them, he held one of the Abysswalker's antlers.
He twisted.
CRACK—!!!
The sound of bone splintering echoed through the field. The man smirked, tossing the broken antler aside, as it landed near me with a dull thud, wet and heavy.
He looked at me then. His eyes gleamming, two thin slits of red against the galaxies.
"Didn't think you'd wake up this early," he said casually, like we were sharing drinks.
Then, almost playfully, he reached for another antler.
CRACK—!!!
The Abysswalker twitched weakly beneath him, a wet gurgle rising from its throat as more black blood sprayed across the mud.
The man grinned wider.
"This creature here…." he raised the shattered piece, studying it with focus before flicking it at my feet. "Was pretty cute, wasn't it?"
He tilted his head, eyes narrowing in delight as the thing beneath him gave one last shudder. Then he hooked a finger like a gun, aimed it straight at the fallen Abysswalker, and said,
"But too bad for him.…"
CRACK—!!!.
He drove his thumb downward, snapping the last antler clean in half with a sickening crunch, letting the fragments crumble to dust beside him.
"….He didn't want to play with me."
The Abysswalker went still.
Its final exhale came out with a barely audible hiss, and the man just smiled, bathed in the black blood and ethereal starlight.
He looked towards my side, and just smiled as he tasted the blood on his finger.
