Chapter 238 - Chapter 230 – The Pinnacle of the Yin Seal

"Alright, that's enough training for today. How about we go check on Naruto and the others?"

Jiraiya stretched his shoulders as he spoke, his voice carrying a hint of curiosity. Beside him, Sasuke gave a small nod, equally interested.

Without wasting time, the master and apprentice made their way toward Naruto's training ground.

Even before they arrived, loud, chaotic voices echoed through the air.

"The Yin Seal!"

"Purify, seal, store—again!"

"Damn it… I was so close!"

"Why can't I get it right?!"

Jiraiya raised an eyebrow as the two approached the clearing. What greeted them was a bizarre yet familiar scene—Naruto, surrounded by countless Shadow Clones, each arguing, shouting, and experimenting with chakra control in their own way.

Sasuke frowned slightly. "What exactly is Naruto doing?"

Jiraiya stroked his chin thoughtfully, observing the clones carefully. "The Yin Seal… I see."

"You recognize it?" Sasuke asked.

Jiraiya nodded. "That's Tsunade's signature technique. A highly advanced form of ninjutsu. It allows the user to store purified chakra over time and release it when needed, dramatically increasing their combat ability."

Sasuke's eyes narrowed, his thoughts racing.

"If Naruto actually masters that…" he murmured, "with his massive chakra reserves… wouldn't releasing it all at once make him nearly invincible?"

Jiraiya chuckled softly.

"Not quite. No matter how much chakra you accumulate, you can't completely surpass your body's limits in battle."

He paused, then added, "Think of it like pouring water from a bucket. If the opening is small, the flow is limited. No matter how much you store, you can't release it infinitely fast."

Sasuke remained silent, but his gaze sharpened.

"Still," Jiraiya continued, "this technique ensures your chakra won't run dry during combat. And when combined with medical ninjutsu, it allows you to maintain peak physical condition—healing wounds instantly."

He smiled faintly.

"It's a terrifying ability… and one of Tsunade's greatest strengths."

Sasuke crossed his arms. "That sounds powerful, but what does it have to do with Naruto's Wind Release Chakra Mode training?"

Jiraiya glanced toward Naruto again.

"Tsunade likely intends to use the Yin Seal to enhance Naruto's cellular activity," he explained. "By repeatedly destroying and regenerating his cells, Naruto's body can adapt and endure the strain of Wind Release Chakra Mode."

A voice suddenly rang out from behind them.

"As expected of you, Jiraiya. You see through everything."

Neither of them needed to turn around to know who it was.

"Tsunade," Jiraiya greeted with a grin. "I appreciate all the effort you're putting into Naruto."

Tsunade snorted, crossing her arms.

"I'm not doing this for you," she said bluntly. "I just don't want you blaming me if you lose."

She paused, her expression softening ever so slightly.

"Besides, Naruto isn't just your student. He's part of Konoha. As Hokage, it's my duty to guide him."

Jiraiya smiled.

"Even so, as his master, I thank you."

"Don't start getting sentimental," Tsunade snapped. "Just get to the point."

Jiraiya chuckled. "Fine. How is his progress?"

Tsunade frowned slightly.

"He should have finished already," she admitted. "But he's stubborn. He wants perfection—100% completion."

Her eyes flickered with something close to astonishment.

"If he actually achieves that… he might even surpass me."

"Oh?" Jiraiya raised his brows, surprised.

"That idiot hasn't changed at all," he muttered with a laugh.

Sasuke quietly whispered, "Naruto…"

At that moment—

"Aha!"

"I… I did it!"

Naruto's voice rang out like thunder, filled with overwhelming excitement.

Everyone turned toward him.

Hinata, standing nearby, widened her eyes in disbelief.

"N-Naruto-kun… did you really succeed?"

Naruto stood there, panting heavily. His body was covered in small wounds that were already rapidly healing. His clothes were disheveled, his hair messy—but his expression radiated pure triumph.

"Of course I did!" he declared proudly.

"100% complete!"

"I can now generate chakra from all one hundred and thirty trillion cells in my body!"

Hinata gasped. "That's… incredible…"

Shizune, equally shocked, exclaimed, "He really did it… Naruto actually surpassed Lady Tsunade!"

Even Tsunade herself stood stunned.

"…Unbelievable."

Jiraiya paused for a moment—then burst into loud laughter.

"Tsunade, you really can't win a bet to save your life!"

Tsunade's face flushed with irritation.

"Jiraiya… are you asking for death?!"

She slammed her fist into a nearby rock, shattering it instantly.

Sasuke, meanwhile, stared at Naruto intensely.

"…How strong is he now?"

Everyone gathered around Naruto.

Though he looked ecstatic, his body was clearly on the verge of collapse. Tsunade, despite her earlier irritation, immediately stepped forward and injected chakra into him, stabilizing his condition.

As she did, something remarkable appeared.

On Naruto's forehead, a diamond-shaped mark slowly emerged—clear, sharp, and far more defined than Tsunade's own.

Tsunade's eyes widened.

"As expected… The Yin Seal has a deep connection to the Uzumaki Clan."

She exhaled softly.

"He's surpassed me…"

Naruto grinned, still catching his breath.

"So, Tsunade Granny? I finished it in less than two months!"

"I win the bet!"

Tsunade coughed awkwardly under everyone's gaze. She had no choice but to keep her word.

With a sigh, she removed the necklace from around her neck and handed it to him.

"A bet is a bet. It's yours now."

Naruto's face lit up with joy. He immediately put it on.

"How does it look?" he asked eagerly.

Hinata smiled gently. "It suits you."

Naruto suddenly noticed the others.

"Hey, Sasuke! When did you get here? And you too, pervy sage!"

Jiraiya laughed. "Just arrived. Perfect timing, it seems."

Sasuke said nothing, but his burning gaze spoke volumes.

Shizune stepped forward with a smile.

"Congratulations, Naruto! Your Yin Seal is complete!"

She hesitated, then added, "It might even be more powerful than Lady Tsunade's—"

"Shizune!" Tsunade interrupted sharply.

Shizune stuck out her tongue playfully, while Tonton squealed in agreement.

Tsunade cleared her throat.

"Even though you've completed the Yin Seal…" she began seriously, "don't get ahead of yourself."

Naruto nodded firmly. "I understand!"

"Good," Tsunade said. "Because that was only the first stage."

Naruto's eyes lit up again.

"Then let's start the second stage right away!"

Tsunade frowned. "In your current condition?"

"I'm fine!" Naruto insisted.

Tsunade glanced at Jiraiya, who gave a helpless shrug. After a moment, she sighed.

"…Alright."

She crossed her arms and began explaining.

"The first stage had two objectives."

"First, to allow your chakra to reach every single cell in your body. That forms the foundation of everything."

"Second, to grant you regenerative capability."

Naruto scratched his head. "So what's the second stage?"

Tsunade's expression turned serious.

"Destroy… and rebuild."

Naruto blinked. "What?"

"You'll use your chakra to destroy every cell in your body," Tsunade said calmly. "Then, by releasing the Yin Seal, you'll reconstruct them."

She stared directly at him.

"You will repeat this process until your cellular activity exceeds that of a normal person by over two hundred times."

Jiraiya's expression darkened.

"Tsunade… that's insane."

He stepped forward.

"Destroying every cell in your body at once? That's practically suicide!"

"Even if the Yin Seal can regenerate you instantly… the pain alone—"

He shook his head.

"It would feel worse than dying a thousand times."

Tsunade didn't waver.

"This is the only way to achieve an unprecedented Wind Release Chakra Mode."

Her voice was firm.

"If he doesn't have the resolve, he should quit now."

Naruto clenched his fists.

"I'll never quit!"

He grinned fiercely.

"Actually… let's start right now!"

Jiraiya sighed, rubbing his forehead.

Hinata watched anxiously, her hands tightly clasped.

Sasuke, however, remained silent.

He knew Naruto wouldn't back down.

What mattered now was—

Just how far Naruto would go.

Tsunade nodded.

"Because of your previous training, your Yin Seal has stored a massive amount of chakra," she said.

"As long as you release it, you won't die easily—even if you push your body to the limit."

She paused.

"But the pain… will be beyond imagination."

Naruto didn't hesitate.

"I'm not afraid."

Tsunade took a deep breath.

"Then begin."

Naruto closed his eyes.

This time, instead of gently guiding chakra—

He forced it.

Ruthlessly.

Violently.

Every cell in his body was targeted.

In an instant—

It was as if silence never existed.

Countless cells vanished simultaneously.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH—!"

Naruto's scream tore through the air.

The pain was indescribable.

It felt as though one hundred and thirty trillion needles had pierced his body all at once.

Every inch of him was being torn apart.

Shattered.

Reduced to nothing.

Even the cruelest forms of torture could not compare.

For a brief moment—

It felt as if Naruto himself had been broken into one hundred and thirty trillion fragments.

And yet…

He endured.
