Death Forest
"Interesting little brats. Still moving under my killing intent?"
A woman in a white coat over black ninja tights, Grass forehead protector on her head, licks her lips with a long tongue.
The blond, blue-eyed kid's chakra is massive—almost Uzumaki-level.
His identity is obvious. Touching him would mean Konoha hunting you to the ends of the earth.
The black-haired, black-eyed one? That's her target.
"I saw you already grabbed a full scroll!"
She pulls a Heaven scroll from her back, rolls it with her tongue, and swallows it.
"So, hand over your scroll?"
"Fine. I'll give it to you—if you let me and my teammate walk."
Sasuke, calmly calculating the power gap, doesn't hesitate. He pulls the Earth scroll from his pouch.
"Ha! Sasuke, what the hell are you doing?!"
Naruto's eyes bulge.
"You still don't feel it? That pressure—same as Sakura!"
Sasuke's blood-red twin-tomoe Sharingan glares back.
"So the prey, faced with an unbeatable hunter, chooses surrender to save itself and its pack? Smart!"
The Grass ninja narrows her eyes, toying with them like a cat with mice.
"You idiot, scared stupid!"
Naruto charges, punching Sasuke flying.
"When did she promise to let us go if we handed it over?!"
Sasuke, wiping blood from his mouth, trembles.
"Heh heh heh. Correct answer. Why bargain when I can just kill you and take it?"
The Grass ninja rolls up her sleeve, bites her finger, and smears blood on the runes on her arm.
"Now entertain me. Summoning Jutsu!"
Amid chakra waves, a shadowy outline slithers from the darkness, tearing through the canopy.
A three-story-tall serpent. Forked tongue flicks. Fangs gleam. It lunges at Naruto and Sasuke.
"Damn it. Guess we fight. And Naruto has to remind me of the basics?!"
Sasuke bites a kunai, threads steel wire through his fingers.
Observation Haki catches his teammate's battle intent. Naruto grins: "Now that's the Sasuke I know!"
"Shut up and fight!"
Sasuke leads. Kunai flies at the woman—four or five wires trailing, twisting forward.
Tiger seal. Uchiha fire surges.
"Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu!"
A firestorm erupts, igniting the wires into a dense flaming net.
Under Mikoto's guidance, Sasuke's fire jutsu has skyrocketed.
With Observation Haki for precision, he weaves tools into techniques—upgrading them on the fly.
"Hahaha! Yes! Show me more!"
Grass ninja seals. Earth surges in layers, blocking flames and wires.
The giant snake leaps over the charred wall, jaws wide for Naruto.
"Don't underestimate me! Rasengan!"
Naruto leaps. His shadow clones—building chakra—pop into smoke.
A blue chakra sphere slams into the snake's head.
BOOM!
High-density spinning chakra pulps bone, flesh, and brain.
"That jutsu... just like him."
She licks dust off her cheek, eyes locked on the boys. Seals again.
"That sensing is annoying, but..."
Inherited nearly all of Hiruzen's jutsu, she has countless counters.
She slams down, using the snake corpse's dust cloud to burrow into the ground.
"Shit!"
Sasuke's Observation loses her.
Sharingan spins, tracking chakra flow.
He spots a tunnel where she landed—deduces the ambush.
"Nar—"
The ground under Naruto shatters before Sasuke can shout.
"What?!"
Rainbow flickers in Naruto's eyes. He barely forms the Boar seal.
But his solid clones dissolve before pale hands.
Adrenaline slows time.
But the cold face before him? Killing intent unshaken.
No. I'm not dying here!
Emotions surge. Another chakra inside him erupts.
Eyes bleed red. A vertical slit splits the crimson.
"DIE!"
His fist—laced with long-lost chakra—becomes devastating.
It punches through her torso. Blood and guts splatter.
Naruto grins: "YES!"
"Too bad. Not enough!"
Even with a broken neck and caved chest, the mush-like woman opens her mouth wide—two hands stretch out!
Caught off guard, purple chakra from her fingers slaps his stomach.
"Five Elements Seal!"
She shoves. Naruto screams.
He flies into a tree. Out cold.
"NARUTO!"
It happened too fast. Sasuke bursts through smoke—too late.
The ninja's tongue flicks in the wind.
Low chuckle: "Heh heh heh. Teammate's down. What now?"
Snake eyes track Sasuke's every twitch, eager for the Uchiha prodigy's next surprise.
"Haa... guess I've got no choice."
Sasuke breathes deep. Seals. Left hand grips right wrist, lowering stance.
Sharingan locks direction. Observation predicts movement.
Lightning chakra gathers in his palm. Sparks sing like a thousand birds.
"That move!"
She seals. Chakra surges. Arms spread toward Sasuke.
But in a blink—he blurs, tearing air with white streaks.
Lightning arm pierces her arm and skull.
"How's that? No more creepy body-swap crap!"
Midair spin. Chidori splits the remains—charred to carbon.
Chakra spent. Jutsu fades.
Sasuke retreats, drops to one knee, panting.
"Finally..."
Clap. Clap. Clap.
"Magnificent!"
Skin charred and cracked, revealing pale flesh beneath, the Grass ninja walks forward, clapping.
"You... impossible!"
Sasuke's eyes shake. The "corpse" he sliced? Now mud, melting into the ground.
He tries to stand—gets kicked in the gut.
Golden Bind Jutsu. He collapses, paralyzed.
"Ninjutsu, taijutsu, bloodline—all ripe for the picking."
"Now, for a parting gift..."
Pale-skinned man forms the Snake seal. Neck elongates.
Fangs bare. Lunges for Sasuke's throat.
It's over...
Vision dims. Body like lead.
Observation senses the bite—but he can't move.
"Gotcha, Itachi's little brother!"
Golden eyes gleam—then freeze.
BOOM!
A ninja sandal stomps his face into the dirt.
Earth explodes. Conqueror's Haki roars. A wild grin crashes into Orochimaru's view.
"Yo, Orochimaru. Thanks for looking after my little bro!"
