Chapter 223 - Toxin Blade Armor

The Black Death Sword is actually a symbiote, and the ancestor of all symbiotes at that.

It was originally created by Nal from his own shadow.

And a shadow is, in fact, a type of "symbiote" of a physical entity.

Later, after Nal used the Black Death Sword to kill the Celestial Group, he was banished to the abyss dimension where it was born.

There, Nal used the Celestial Group's severed skulls as a furnace, constantly forging the Black Death Sword and transforming it into the All-Black Necrosword.

Because it was surrounded by flames and the sounds of hammering all day long, later all the symbiotes became afraid of fire and sonic waves.

Later, Nal began his revenge plan.

He carried the All-Black Necrosword and wantonly slaughtered across the universe, spreading darkness.

Ultimately, he perished in a battle because of this.

The All-Black Necrosword broke and degenerated, falling onto the Kant Planet.

During this time, some of the subordinates Nal created were called symbiotes. They were all created by him, modeled after the Black Death Sword's form of existence.

The Black Death Sword, having lost its host, finally encountered the unique being that was Peter.

Peter was human, a suitable host.

But he was also a symbiote, able to fully merge with the Black Death Sword.

Thus, the second-generation Venom and the Black Death Sword underwent a miraculous fusion, allowing their characteristics to merge and become a brand-new symbiote.

"From now on, you shall be called Toxin Blade, the Toxin Blade symbiote!" Peter looked down at the black sword in his hand, murmuring.

At this moment, the surrounding Hive began to writhe again.

Having gone through the initial shock, it had clearly recovered.

It seemed that although the Hive didn't possess the sharp intellect of Venom and Carnage (after all, it was just a symbiote formed from ancient creatures that had mutated under the influence of the Black Death Sword, and of course, didn't have human-like intelligence), it was like most creatures that instinctively protect themselves and their treasures.

The Hive obviously regarded the Black Death Sword as its own private property.

It would never allow Peter to take the Black Death Sword away!

Whoosh!

A large amount of deep yellow symbiote substance squeezed towards Peter.

A large amount of black biological matter also surged out from Peter's body at this moment.

Very quickly, he transformed into an all-black symbiote warrior holding a blood-red longsword.

Unlike the previous second-generation Venom armor, the Toxin Blade Armor had a metallic sheen. The upper body had a defined eight-pack, making him look very strong. On the chest was a giant red spider pattern, but unlike before, this spider pattern had far more than eight legs, with over a dozen in total. Some of the longer legs extended directly onto his back and arms, making his arms appear covered in blood-red veins.

On his head, his eyes and mouth were similar to Venom and Carnage, both displaying the classic "symbiote face": upturned eyes and a huge grin – it's more accurate to say that Venom and Carnage inherited this racial characteristic from the Black Death Sword.

Naturally, his eyes and mouth were also red.

On his head, he also wore a black cloak, adding to his mystique.

Finally, there was the blade in his hand, which was hard to say whether it was a knife or a sword.

Its hilt was black, while the blade was blood-red.

Overall, the Toxin Blade Armor gave off a mysterious, powerful, terrifying, and bloodthirsty feeling.

Its name, "Toxin Blade," might not only come from its partial origin in the second-generation Venom, but also because the word "toxin" itself implies cruelty, viciousness, and other symbols of extreme brutality.

"Since you're so eager, let's try out my Toxin Blade!" Peter's blood-red lips curled into a grin that reached his ears.

Then, he raised the Toxin Blade and slashed it several times.

Swish, swish, swish!

"Aah!" The Hive let out a violent scream.

The Toxin Blade's power even exceeded Peter's expectations.

Wherever it passed, the Hive's symbiote matter was cut open like tofu, without any delay.

It seemed that something within the Toxin Blade had a special damage bonus against the Hive symbiote.

After cutting them, Peter could feel a lot of symbiote energy being absorbed into his body, and this energy clearly came from the Hive symbiote!

In other words, the Toxin Blade actually had an effect similar to a "Bloodthirster Sword" in a game.

It was just that he didn't know whether this "blood drinking" was only for symbiotes, or for all other creatures!

Peter didn't think too much about it for the time being.

He swung his sword rapidly, slicing the Hive to pieces in a few strokes.

There were indeed weapon techniques within his Spider Combat Technique, not just empty-handed combat.

So, although he had always fought barehanded, he didn't appear awkward when he suddenly picked up a weapon.

In fact, after getting used to it initially, Peter became even more "reckless."

He actually took the initiative to pursue and kill the Hive symbiotes!

And the Hive symbiotes couldn't stop him from rampaging through their bodies, they could only wail and endure it.

While Peter was attacking, his Spider-Sense radar was also fully engaged.

He looked like he was just wildly swinging, but in reality... he was indeed just wildly swinging.

However, while wildly swinging, he used his Spider-Sense radar to carefully feel the energy flow within the Hive symbiotes.

Theoretically, symbiotes are all one and the same, without so many distinctions.

But Peter, as a symbiote, could find some slight differences.

Just like he accurately found the core of the whip before! With Peter's persistent efforts, he soon found a location where energy fluctuations frequently occurred!

Then, Peter swung his sword and quickly charged towards it.

The symbiote Hive was a bit slow at first, not noticing Peter's intentions.

It wasn't until Peter appeared less than twenty meters from its core that it suddenly realized.

Then, Peter found that this guy's core had actually moved!

The core could move at will; this was somewhat unexpected.

However, realizing this now, it can only be said that it's too late.

Peter's Spider-Sense had long since locked onto the core of the Hive. No matter how it ran, it couldn't escape Peter's grasp!

As a game of "cat and mouse" played out within the Symbiote Hive, the situation outside was also subtly changing.

After sending out those symbiotes that had dealt with Peter and Super Spider-Man, Tiger King returned underground with the Mechanical Guards.

The Mechanical Guards possessed the advantage of not fearing symbiote possession and came equipped with sonic weapons, making them the best choice for dealing with symbiotes.

While Peter was killing his way into the Symbiote Hive, the symbiotes outside were also being surrounded by the Mechanical Guards.

With the continuous spread of high-powered sonic waves, the symbiotes were successively controlled.
