The five-squad team watched as hundreds of aliens came out of the still-raining pods. All of the creatures had a similar look, with an outer appearance similar to a lizardman. Most had one eye replaced with cybernetics and their right arm replaced with an energy rifle or a threatening blade.
"Open fire!" Using her communication device, Victoria gave the order. A second later explosions resonated a few kilometers behind as the common soldiers activated the artillery.

Hundreds of shells began to rain from the sky, colliding with the approaching alien threat. While the five-squad team was going to attack the aliens as soon as they landed. That didn't mean the ones that were waiting at the back weren't going to participate in the slaughter.
This was humanity's territory, and no one would be allowed to take it from them!
