(Danzo's POV)
-Any news?- Danzo asked, slightly annoyed.
The ANBU kneeling before him spoke directly. - No, there has been no contact with them for days.
Danzo snorted angrily, mainly because he had lost Torune. He didn't know where the plan had gone wrong, one moment Kirigakure seemed ready for war and the Raikage was advancing with two Jinchuuriki.
In the other, Kirigakure looks like a turtle in a jar and the Raikage's group returned even faster than they arrived, with no damage to Otogakure, his own group had vanished into thin air, presumably dead.
This made Danzo even more unhappy, but he had nowhere else to vent his anger.

(Onoki's POV)
-You mean our group's route coincided with the Raikage's?- Onoki asked irritably, floating slowly in the air with his hands behind his back.
Before him stood the group of ANBU ninjas he had sent to investigate the disappearance of the group responsible for the deception.
-Yes, Tsuchikage-sama, the Raikage's departure was witnessed by several sources, along with the clues at the scene, it's likely that it was the Raikage who found them.- The ninja spoke, his voice tinged with a slight sadness. Among those sent this time was a very close friend of his.
Onoki snorted, extremely furious inside, wishing he could turn "A" to dust, but he had been Tsuchikage for decades, he wouldn't make a fuss about it.
-And what about Otogakure and the Raikage?- Onoki continued to question.
The ninja remained silent for a moment, considering how to relay the information he had received. -The Raikage's group was seen leaving Otogakure quickly, they had obvious injuries.
Onoki's eyes widened like saucers. The Raikage and two Jinchuuriki had fled in shame? He only managed to let the words escape after a long moment. - What?

(POV "A")
Boom~~
The sound of the table crashing against the wall was deafening, "A's" eyes were filled with rage, he had never been so passive, not even against Namikaze Minato, he only managed to destroy things in his office while Mabui hid behind the door, not wanting to go in now with his boss clearly furious.

(Terumi Mei's POV)
The meeting room was quiet, extremely quiet.
Normally, such a quiet room would be a cause for joy for Mei, it meant that those old people weren't trying to manage everything for her.
But she wasn't happy.
Because she was just as silent.
Even though she wanted to avoid the war, even though the desired outcome had been achieved, Mei felt no joy. Those giant figures still gave her nightmares at night, the deep footprints and destroyed trees and rocks being the only evidence of the giants' existence, proving that neither she nor all of Kirigakure were in some kind of collective illusion.
That was supposed to be a meeting about how to react to the "threat" from Otogakure, but in the end, everyone looked at her with blank faces, as if they expected her to finally speak up and shout a response like: "So what? I can burn those giants with lava release with ease."
Mei wouldn't believe it, even if she said so and she wasn't the type to brag. Mei just wondered if she would be able to get married before losing all her hair due to stress.

(Sasuke's POV)
Suigetsu entered Sasuke's house directly, carrying a bag full of meat skewers and others containing soda and juice.
-Hey Sasuke! How did it go?- The white-haired boy carrying a large sword on his back asked with a grin full of serrated teeth.
-Boring. - Sasuke was sitting cross-legged on the wooden porch, his house was clearly in the traditional Japanese style, he was reviewing the fight in his head.
As for Suigetsu's approach, he was already used to it a long time ago, that guy couldn't stay still.
Suigetsu didn't ask permission to enter, he didn't ask permission to sit next to Sasuke, but he placed the food between them, took a skewer of fried fish with bell pepper and onion and a soda from the bag, starting to eat with gusto.
Sasuke opened his eyes, looked at the food, picked up the juice and a skewer of meat with tomato, then began to eat calmly.
Sasuke knew what was coming next, just as he expected, Suigetsu opened his mouth and began to speak, asking about the fight, the movements, the opponents' clans and their abilities, even about the battlefield after the fight.
Sasuke responded with few words, but he still responded, showing that despite not showing it much, Sasuke did not dislike Suigetsu.
With his strength advancing by leaps and bounds, Sasuke was much calmer. He still harbored a deep hatred for Itachi, but now he could feel the progress, unlike in Konoha. Thus, in his free time, he was still approachable.
But his irritation soon grew when he heard Karin's angry shouts and Ranmaru's soft replies, two more had arrived. Sasuke could only sigh.
Soon his house was full of life. Sasuke watched the trio laughing and arguing, his mind unconsciously returning to Naruto and Sakura.
He remained silent, gazing upwards thoughtfully, but no one cared, that was Sasuke.
