Of the 15 teams, most were from Konoha, with four teams advancing, three known teams and one that discovered the rule by luck.
Suna and Oto had the same number of participants, with two teams managing to get in, the rest were from different villages. It was ironic how at least one participant from each participating village managed to get in.
An interesting fact was that Taki's team had two Jonin who changed their names to participate, but Jugo didn't understand why they changed their names in the first place, Oto's spies had already discovered their real names, and besides, several other villages openly sent Jonin without changing their names.
Jugo knows, they know, in the end it was an open secret. The fact was that Taki seemed to be particularly cautious because of the Jinchuuriki, Fuu, but precisely trying too hard to hide something made them seem more suspicious.
Luckily for them, Jugo wasn't very interested in tailed beasts, so he completely ignored them.
Furthermore, one of Ame's kunoichi was clearly Pain's future Animal Pathway, but with wine-red hair instead of the future orange, Jugo became curious about how that girl had died and ended up becoming one of Pain's six paths.
The most interesting thing is Team 15 from Suna, their leader, Saya, can use a technique that uses the target's hair as a means to control them. This made Jugo very curious, it was clearly some kind of curse. He wondered if this woman was using some kind of demonic power like Hidan.
Jugo watched her for a while, the woman was carrying a small puppet with her, but in reality it was the opposite, the woman was the "small puppet"! If Jugo didn't know, he would think there was someone else following the Chained Pathway in this world.
With that level of atrophy and the power of the curse being weak... it was very likely that this woman was descended from demons, but while Jugo left a Snake Clone to assess the situation, he saw that he couldn't connect with another demon like he had done with Jashin through Hidan, perhaps the connection with her was too tenuous.
It was a shame, he thought he could get a new demon.
Shaking his head, losing interest for the moment, Jugo looked at the list of targets, intrigued to see how the next exam would end.

Ringo smiled slightly as he looked at the table, the first team was Team Asuma, and its target was Team 5, which included the Tsuchikage's granddaughter.
Kurotsuchi's team, on the other hand, would be behind Taki's team, that is, behind the Jinchuuriki. Jugo was curious to see how the fight between the two sides would go.
Fuu's team was lucky. Needing the Hot Springs(Yu) team's tag, they didn't seem very strong, so they were very unlucky. Besides, their target was Choujurou's team, the future Mizukage of Kiri.
Choujurou's team was behind Ame's team. He remembered those girls from Ame, their leader might even be able to use the sealing jutsu very well, but Jugo didn't think that team could beat Kiri's team. It was evident that everyone on Team 6 had reached at least the Tokubetsu Jonin level.

Team Dosu wasn't completely out of luck, they drew the weak team from Konoha, who had advanced by chance. Given their level, whether they would advance depended on luck.
This Konoha team(13), on the other hand, was turned against its own village, having to go after Team Kurenai. Against three trackers, it would be very difficult for them to pass the exam.
Of course, Konoha was incredibly unlucky, Team Kurenai had to go after Team Gai. Unfortunately for them, except for Tenten, it would be very difficult to remove the Tag from Lee and Neji.

If it were against another team, Kusa's team isn't bad, but against Karin, Suigetsu and Ranmaru? That was just bad luck for them. Besides, Karin probably didn't have much goodwill towards Kusa, so those guys would have been even more unlucky.
Of course, this only takes into account that each team would go after their targets, some might think it would be easier to simply pick 3 different tags, especially strong teams like Team Kimimaro.
Ranmaru also had a very wide field of vision, just like the Hyuga clan, anything was possible from now on.
