JASMINE'S POV
"How about we have dinner at my place tomorrow night, then?" I asked Louis.
"You're offering to make dinner?" he asked.
"As a small thanks to you for everything you've helped my son and me with. I know dinner isn't much, but it's a start," I asked him.
"I would love to," he agreed
"You're going to make cherry pie again?" Tony asked me excitedly.
"Sure," I agreed.
"Oh, so I'll finally get to taste these desserts of yours that are apparently so good?" Louis joined in.
I smiled at him. "I hope you'll like them."
*******
Later that night Louis had us prepare our things in our rooms to be packed away for tomorrow. When I finally retired for the night I took out my laptop and went ahead and filed for a contested divorce on the family court website. With no update from Keith who kept insisting 'he didn't agree' with the terms, I decided it was time to go ahead with this.
