The meeting with my lawyers didn't last very long. I mean it was a pretty straightforward case with an outcome we all anticipated on the day of the hearing.
My lawyers confirmed what I had already been thinking. That this was an open and shut case. They thought that as soon as the judge opened the file he would quickly come to a decision. We might not even need the second hearing. Jasmine I'm sorry but you've lost this one.
I escorted the lawyers to the door and we agreed to have a final discussion on our plan for Monday just before the weekend. I then got back to my desk to continue doing paperwork before I had my next meeting. It was about an hour later around midmorning when Edward returned to my office.
"Sir, the CEOs of all the subsidiaries have arrived in the meeting room," he informed me.
