The woman introduced herself as Yuna, the Vice Leader of Sacred Hall. Ethan did not need to explain who he was. Yuna already knew him.
"You may leave," Yuna requested, speaking from inside the tent.
"But… what about your life, Vice Leader?" one of Yuna's team members asked.
"Ethan will not kill me. I believe that."
Hearing those words, all of Yuna's team members turned and left the negotiation tent area. Laura noticed their movement and instinctively put LionArk's forces on alert.
However, the order was withdrawn when she saw them heading back toward their city instead of attacking Lion City.
That alone was enough to leave Laura confused.
One of the unit commanders approached Laura. "Isn't this the best time for us to attack them? Their team leader is unguarded."
Laura shook her head. There were still no signs of anything happening inside the tent, and she did not want to act recklessly.
"We stay here, remain on alert, and continue monitoring the situation."
"All right."
