"You think you can fool him? He's not looking at your ugly face anymore," I hissed at her, thinking that would be enough, that defeating her would be that easy.
Then she started laughing. She began to hum something.
It was odd, stranger than before. It was creepy.
As she hummed, I watched Luca's body stiffen.
I did not understand what was happening. Who was she? How did she have so many strange powers?
She had been strangely fixated on me. It did not seem like she wanted to harm Luca. Instead, she was controlling him to harm me.
"Luca, don't... Don't listen to her. Look at me," I said, confused by how she controlled him while I still felt fine.
Was it because she was controlling the wolves and the lycans, and mine was sleeping because I was pregnant?
"Come on, Luca. Come and stand with me," she whispered, then began to hum again.
Luca turned, looked at me, and then walked past me.
