Chapter 324 - 324-I Watched Him Drown

Whichever direction she stepped, the water went silent as if letting her walk through.

"You will watch him drown," she said calmly and reached for my throat.

I wanted to get away from her, but I could not.

The water was holding me tightly.

I stumbled backward, barely slipping, staying above the surface.

My lungs burned from earlier. My limbs felt heavy, and fighting became too difficult at this point.

She stood over me, her hand hovering above my chest.

Her eyes were cold, and there was a creepy grin on her lips.

"This is what you deserve for stealing Kash from me," she whispered.

Then she pulled back while I stayed sitting in the water, barely able to breathe because half of my ears were submerged, listening to the strange screams beneath the surface.

My face was the only thing out.

Then I watched her pull out the dagger I had lost.

She must have secured it when we were being thrashed around.

She held the dagger up and smiled.
