Everyone heard the sad cry of Brad, as he mourned Matt. Everyone's body shook in fear. What concerned most of them, except for Matt's roommate and Eira, was how they would survive the wrath of the devil.
Matt's death didn't concern them because life is about survival. This was the cruel state of humanity.
Eira was silent; her eyes looked dead as she looked at where Matt had fallen.
Brad saw this; within his grief, he smirked excitedly. But this happened for a moment; nobody saw this.
The Devil watched all of this like a bystander; it seemed to enjoy the fear, the hatred, and the shock experienced by these thirteen-year-old children.
Eira's heart was dead; she didn't feel alive; she didn't know when she stood up, staggering towards the edge of the bridge.
If before she was an angel, now she was a fallen angel.
