Catherine's POV
I spent the next ten minutes reading through the file she gave me. It was difficult to focus on anything when what I have is bulky and complicated, but I managed to learn a couple of things about the company we are going to and the deal they are finalising.
How can someone resume a position and she is immediately asked to take part in an ongoing project?
She was messing with me, I might not have evidence but I know for sure.
"Welcome Diane, I never thought I would see you here today!" A middle-aged man greeted us as we walked into a conference room.
A projector in the middle of the room and a few of their staff walked in after us.
"Thank you, I want to make sure everything goes well". She replied and we sat down.
"Can we get the recap on what we've discussed so far?" He asked and Diane looked at me.
Me?
The man also did the same, and smiled at me.
Waiting for me to start and say something.
But in reality, I know just about ten percent of everything.
