"Tsk, and you think I would do that? I will be the one to tell the police the truth." Soren glared at her. "You want me to blame the person who died trying to protect me? And you know what? He has a family, he has a son."
"So what?" She didn't flinch. "We don't have a family? We have a family too." Soren looked at her dumbfounded.
She picked up the papers from the floor and placed them on the table in front of him. "Just do what you are told to do."
"I will not," Soren spat and walked out.
Soren saw his driver waiting for him in the car.
"I haven't called you," he said leaning towards the driver through the open window.
"The Chairman instructed me to pick you up. He wants to talk to you."
Soren got in and the driver escorted him to Thane's office. Soren entered the office and just stood there looking at him.
"Bastard! When are you going to learn to greet?" Thane got up from his seat.
Soren just stood there looking straight into his eyes.
