Things were just as Juliet said. Rumours have spread across the staff that I was the one who sabotaged Amelia and cost the company millions. Honestly, I found it pathetic that even when I didn't do a thing I was given credit for their stupidity but what I didn't expect was for New Horizon to get entangled in this mess one way or the other
That was truly unexpected, and from my observation, Raphael was already suspicious. The question he asked made my stomach churn. I almost slipped off, this was meant to be my first time hearing about New Horizon.
" I hope you aren't up to any games " he replied and I almost laughed
"We both know I can't afford to do that, not when I have been made the villain of my story ", I could not help but say. His expression remained unreadable like ice I could not chip off
