Clara's presence made Alysa angry. She didn't want her cousin to come at all. Even her father, who was also Clara's uncle, was surprised by his niece's arrival.
"I have to get rid of that woman by any means necessary!" Alysa thought to herself.
During the ring exchange and kiss ceremony, Danton suddenly flirted with Clara. No one noticed the man's small smile, not even his ex-girlfriend, except Arthur.
"What are you doing!" whispered Clara, removing Reinhard Garcia's grandson's hand from her waist.
"Shh, he's watching you!" whispered Arthur.
"Him?" thought Clara, realizing who her arch-enemy was referring to.
Danton was still stealing glances at Clara, and he responded to Arthur's gesture more affectionately. He moved closer to her and smiled as if to signal that they were indeed lovers.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife!" said the wedding officiant.
