A chilling sensation surged through him, and Gu Yuan felt his body return to his control.
Looking at the Gengar in front, Gu Yuan finally relaxed.
Immediately afterward, several shadow figures rushed out, surrounding Hawkins.
"You really have a death wish, daring to provoke even an Elite Rank."
Agatha arrived next to Gu Yuan and immediately delivered a slap to his head.
"I didn't expect his Alakazam could Teleport such a long distance, or I would have already retreated successfully."
"Thank you for arriving in time, Master. Your disciple is extremely grateful."
Looking at Agatha, Gu Yuan felt an overwhelming sense of warmth. There is great terror in facing death, and even though Gu Yuan had experienced it once, he could not face it calmly. Although he had struggled until the last moment without succumbing to panic, surviving was naturally the best outcome.
"Hmph, I'll deal with you later!"
Frowning, Agatha gave Gu Yuan no friendly look for the moment. However, when she looked at Hawkins, her expression grew even colder.
She had finally found such an outstanding disciple, and he was nearly killed! Agatha could not tolerate this insult.
"You young rascal over there, this old woman will also grant you a respectable death. Kill yourself, or I'll let you taste what it's like to be devoured by a thousand ghosts."
Leaning on her staff, Agatha returned Hawkins's words to him.
"Is that so? Then this junior is actually looking forward to it."
Even facing the Champion Rank Gengar, Hawkins's calm eyes remained unchanged.
Just as Gu Yuan was wondering what Hawkins was planning, Hawkins suddenly vanished from his spot.
"Trying to run? Not so easy!"
Agatha's voice rang out, and her Champion Rank Gengar also disappeared. Then, an Elite Rank Gengar appeared, carrying Agatha as they pursued the vanishing figure.
Even while pursuing Hawkins, Agatha did not forget to leave an Elite Rank Gengar behind to protect Gu Yuan, in case Hawkins attempted a counterattack.
Looking at the Gengar that immediately lay sideways on the ground, propping its head up with one hand in a relaxed manner after Agatha left, Gu Yuan seriously doubted that it could protect him.

In his escape, Hawkins's Alakazam continuously used Teleport to flee.
Relying on Phantom Force and Shadow Sneak, coupled with its Champion Rank strength, Gengar managed to firmly keep up with Alakazam.
After several uses of Teleport, just as Alakazam reappeared in a valley with Hawkins and Hypno, Gengar suddenly burst out of the dimensional space.
It used Taunt before Alakazam t could use Teleport again.
Using Telepathy, Hawkins commanded Hypno and Alakazam to fight back.
Two Psychic attacks rushed out one after the other, flanking Gengar from the left and right.
Concurrently, Hawkins also released several Psychic-type Pokémon, including those of Leader and Ace Rank.
Gengar glanced around, a flicker of disdain in its eyes.
The next second, Gengar used Night Shade, appearing as a gigantic, demonic shadow.
Shadow Claw coalesced, and the demonic shadow Gengar easily shattered the attacks from Hypno and the others.
Relying on its immense strength, Gengar had no intention of dodging.
Dark Pulse surged forth, first defeating the two Ace Rank Psychic-type Pokémon.
Next, it used Taunt, ensuring no Psychic-type Pokémon could use Teleport to carry Hawkins away.
Although Gengar was acting without Agatha's direct command, its performance was still outstanding.
The most crucial factor was Gengar's Champion Rank strength, which meant Alakazam and the others simply could not break through its Night Shade.
Watching his Pokémon fall one by one, Hawkins remained unruffled, acting as if Gengar were the one on the verge of defeat, not him.

Deep in the forest, Ariados and Crobat attacked again, slaying a frantically aggressive Xatu.
Even in death, the Xatu's crimson eyes did not lose their color.
"After being Infused with an unknown medicine, its strength surged to Elite Rank, and it could quickly recover from its wounds by using its life force, preventing me from breaking free immediately."
"This excuse should be enough to satisfy Agatha."
Koga's whisper rang out, unheard by anyone else.

In the valley, Hawkins was now only left with his Elite Rank Hypno and Alakazam. Conversely, Gengar fought with increasing ferocity.
Gengar used Night Shade and charged again. The giant demonic claw swung, and Hypno, unable to resist, was immediately knocked away.
Next, Dark Pulse rushed out, but Alakazam managed a slight resistance with Psychic.
Seizing this opportunity, Gengar suddenly used Shadow Sneak to appear behind Alakazam.
Shadow Ball was released, directly slamming Alakazam to the ground.
Before collapsing, Alakazam used Future Sight, and an energy ball shimmering with multi-colored light rushed toward Gengar.
Hypno used this chance to retaliate with Psychic once more.
Turning, Gengar used Shadow Ball to destroy Alakazam's Future Sight.
Then, another Dark Pulse was unleashed, not only shattering Hypno's Psychic but also striking Hypno itself.
Without giving them another chance to retaliate, multiple Shadow Ball attacks were released, completely defeating Hypno and Alakazam.
Just as Gengar prepared to deliver the final blow, Hawkins recalled them into their Poké Balls.
Next, a Golem was released.
The next second, white light engulfed Golem.
The resulting Explosion from the Leader Rank Golem was so immense that even Gengar dared not withstand it directly, quickly retreating.
Watching the explosion light rush toward him, Hawkins's eyes still held no trace of panic, as if everything was within his control.
Gengar, however, failed to notice this.
After retreating outside the explosion's radius, Gengar waited for the blast to end.
At this moment, Agatha also arrived with the help of the other Gengar.
"Choosing this kind of death? That's quite ruthless."
Seeing the light of the explosion, Agatha could guess what had just happened. However, she did not relax her guard and instead questioned Gengar.
After confirming that there were no Psychic fluctuations, Agatha began inspecting the debris left by the explosion.
A gigantic crater scarred the valley floor, littered with scattered fragments. These were likely the Pokémon Gengar had defeated but Hawkins hadn't managed to recall in time.
Finally, seeing a fragment of a ruined dimensional backpack, Agatha was satisfied.
"It's a pity about that Mind Lotus."
"Alright, the mission is complete. Let's go."
"When we get back, I need to properly discipline that boy. How dare he provoke an Elite Rank trainer!"
After taking photographs for documentation, Agatha left with her Gengar.
In the forest, Gu Yuan was pondering Hawkins's true objective.
Before Gu Yuan could organize his thoughts, the remaining Team Rocket members were completely wiped out under Koga's command. It wasn't that Koga didn't want to leave any alive, but these individuals were incredibly fierce. Realizing they couldn't escape, they all chose to commit suicide!
