James: Fine i forgive you. You're my bestie and i can't stay mad at you.
(James said that while turning his head to the other side, not facing William. William smiled and hugged him from behind, more like jumped on him, causing him to smile)
William: thank you so so so much. You're the best. Love you!
(Suddenly George appeared from no where and pulled hum back from James. He was glaring at him. William frowned in confusion)
George: you love who?
William: my best friend of course.
George: what?
William: not romantically. I told you--
(He didn't complete his sentence as he realised that James was just angry because of him now. He smiled and turned to James, who was already looking at him, more like planning a murder. He turned back to George)
William: let's have dinner, shall we?
Mrs. Watson: yes guys, come on!
(William released a sigh of relief)
James: it's not over.
George: yes.
(Both of them nudged his shoulders and went to the dining table. Everyone was eating quietly. Travis and William kept looking at each other giving each other looks, silent talking about how to tell their mother about their new discoveries. Emily was talking with Mrs. Watson and James and George just sat quietly)
Mrs. Watson: ok why are you so quiet? Did something happen?
William: yes.
Travis: yes.
George: yes.
James: yes.
(The four of them said at them same time and looked at each other. William looked at them. He was shocked. Mrs. Watson just sighed)
Mrs. Watson: Tell me.
William: You are our mother, no hiding from you.
Mrs. Watson: yup mom knows everything.
Travis: mom, i like someone.
(To Travis's shock, no one was shocked)
Mrs. Watson: ok, and?
Travis: you're not--
(Mrs. Watson didn't let him complete his sentence)
Mrs. Watson: no i'm not mad. Loving is not a crime. I've said that before and i'll say it now too. You can love anyone you want. Your family will support you no matter what.
William: except for if you're the one who cheats, then we can't.
(William said in a teasing way only to receive a smack from his mother)
William: i was just teasing him.
Mrs. Watson: yeah whatever.
William: hmph!
(He ate his food while sulking and George smiled. He leaned closer to his ear and whispered)
George: now i know where that smacking habit came from.
(Hearing this, William chuckled)
Mrs. Watson: by the way, you didn't tell me about who you love.
Travis: umm it's our university's principal.
Mrs. Watson: what?
Travis: yes that's true.
Mrs. Watson: really?
William: yes mom, he's very kind. He's young, tall, mascular. Anyone would fall for him.
George: but you can't fall for him.
Travis: yes! You can't.
William: why would i? He's your man. I wouldn't fall for my brother in law.
James: yeah you have someone else.
(James said while smirking making William glare at him)
William: By the way i'm done with my food. You should be done too. Why don't you go home and rest? You might have to pick up Emma tomorrow like you always do.
(Now James shot him a glare while William was smirking. Mrs. Watson smiled and spoke up)
Mrs. Watson: ok guys, let's calm down. I don't want my house on fire. By the way, James, how is Felicia? She doesn't visit anymore, why tho?
James: uhh she's been busy as she has her own clinic. So, yeah.
(James got quiet. Mrs. Watson nodded her head. William noticed how James's mood changed. William got a call. He looked at the caller id)
William: excuse me. I'll be back.
(He got out of the house and picked up the call)
William: what's you're problem, Zack? Why won't you leave me alone?
Zack: well you didn't delete my number.
(William asked Zack in an annoyed tone and he responded in a teasing way. William rolled his eyes)
William: ok i'll do it. Bye.
Zack: stop stop. I wanna talk about something.
William: speak up.
Zack: Jillian told me about how bold you've gotten. Standing up for someone.
William: that's what you wanted to talk about?
Zack: no.
William: then what?
Zack: i-- can't tell you like this.
(William thought something's suspicious. Zack's never nervous like this)
William: then don't i'm going.
Zack: i like you.
William: what?
