Travis was lost in his thoughts, getting emotional for his brother.
Whereas when Emily came down, his emotional thoughts ran down the drain and he frowned. He was like, "what the f-"
He got up from his current spot and stood beside William. Now both of them were looking at their sister like those judging aunts. Emily saw their frowning faces and asked,
"What's wrong?"
William and Travis said together, "Everything"
William: let's get you dressed up. You're going to meet your crush not on your wedding. Keep it simple.
Emily: Hey!
Mrs. Watson: what crush?
Mrs. Watson appeared from no where scaring the dish out of the three siblings.
Travis: nothing mom! It's just that our baby's grown up.
Travis said that and to avoid more questions William started to walk, more like ran upstairs to Emily's room and Travis took her hand, pulling her with him as they followed William. As they were in the room, taking out different dresses for Emily, they heard the doorbell ring.
Travis: must be yo' man~
Travis said in a teasing tone and William's mood became ten times brighter then usual.
Mrs. Watson opened the door and it was George with flowers in his hand. He was also dressed simple but neat for the day. He wore a white dress shirt and jeans with shoes. Mrs. Watson smiled and let him in.
George: hello, Mrs. Watson!
Mrs. Watson: hey! Come in. Looking handsome. I see, are those for your man?
She asked and he looked at the flowers. He blushed a bit and nodded with a smile.
Mrs. Watson: aah~ so lovely. He's upstairs, in Emily's room. Do you want anything to drink?
George: ah no- no! Mrs. Watson--
Mrs. Watson: sorry to interrupt but it's mom.
George smiled and nodded.
George: yes mom!
And then he also went to Emily's room. Travis got out a plain lilac spagetti-strap dress that was above Emily's knees. It had a matching cardigan with it as well. Then William gave her a jeans with it. Emily liked the outfit they picked and went to change in the bathroom. William was sitting on her bed when he was wrapped in someone's arms. He smiled because he knew who the person was. He looked behind and saw George with a bouquet of flowers.
William: hi, handsome!
George: hello my love! (Gave a peck on the side of William's head) Here, for you.
George gave him the bouquet of flowers. He gladly accepted it.
Willliam: they're beautiful!
George: yup! Just like you, darling.
William: (chuckles) thank you!
Travis smiled while looking at them, feeling happy for his brother.
Travis: So, when is Mr. Wubin coming?
When Travis asked George about Wubin, he smiled.
George: he's worried about what to wear, what to do and how to speak without looking like an old man. Things like that. Don't worry! He's about to be here in a few minutes.
*doorbell rings*
George: and he's here.
Mrs. Watson opened the door and was a bit surprised to see the principal of the university in which her sons were studying. Wubin smiled awkwardly and bowed a little in respect.
Wubin: Uh greetings, Mrs. Watson! You might be shocked to see me here but I'm here to meet Travis.
Mrs. Watson remembered her convo with the boys at the dining table the other day and remembered that Travis liked Wubin. So, she smiled and let him in.
Mrs. Watson: please sit, I'll get you a glass of water.
Wubin smiled and sat on the sofa in the living room.
Mrs. Watson gave him the glass of water. He thanked her, took the glass and began to chug the water down his throat because of how nervous he was at the moment.
Travis: Mr. Wubin! You're here.
Wubin's head snapped up as soon as he heard the voice he wanted to hear. He smiled and stood up.
Wubin: ahh! You don't have to be formal when we're outside of the university. Just call me Wubin. Ok?
Travis nodded with a smile. Then William and George also came down with Emily.
William: hello Wubin!
Wubin: hey Will! Looking nice, ready for your date? With this good for nothing brother of mine.
George: excuse me?
Wubin gave a side eye to George and then pointed at Emily, asking,
Wubin: is she your sister?
Both Travis and William nodded.
Travis: she's the youngest. Emily.
Emily: hello! I'm Emily. Nice to meet you.
Wubin: nice to meet you too Emily. I'm Wubin.
