Chapter 65 - Chapter 64: It's Decided, It's You

Hush's expression changed the moment he saw Dane appear.

After confirming the gaze, it was someone he couldn't defeat.

He quickly said to Ra's al Ghul beside him, "We can't deal with this person, retreat quickly!"

With that, he bolted without a hint of hesitation.

He had personally witnessed Dane and Superman fight, and the world-destroying scene was still deeply etched in his mind.

So he absolutely did not want to feel that man's punch!

Ra's al Ghul hesitated for a moment upon seeing this; although he hadn't seen Dane's accomplishments.

But anyone who could fly was clearly not simple, yet he wasn't as cowardly as Hush, and instead threw out a shuriken first.

The target was the iron chains holding the coffins.

Batman, seeing this, also hastily threw a Batarang to intercept.

But to his surprise, after being hit, the shuriken split into two smaller darts.

"Hmph, you still have a lot to learn, Bruce!"

Ra's al Ghul sneered and turned to leave.

The darts accurately hit the iron chains, and the internal explosives detonated, breaking the chains, causing the two coffins to instantly fall.

Batman couldn't help but shout, "Dane!"

"You owe me a favor."

With that, Dane flew forward, directly supporting the two coffins, one in each hand.

Batman breathed a sigh of relief, then rose to pursue Ra's al Ghul.

As for Hush, he had long since disappeared.

While everyone was distracted, Dane took the two coffins into the Rock of Eternity.

He set down the coffins and called June Moone over.

"June!"

Recently, he felt the Witch seemed to be getting more obedient, and he wondered if it was due to her and June's personalities starting to merge.

After all, their memories were connected.

June Moone heard Dane's call and quickly scurried over.

Recently, Zatanna had business in the Real World, leaving just her and Dane here, which she found a little exciting.

But Dane had called her for serious business, which made her a little disappointed, though she didn't dare say much.

"I need to speak with the Witch."

June immediately understood his meaning and softly chanted, "Witch."

When she opened her eyes again, she had become the Witch. The Witch instinctively lowered her head the moment she saw him.

Her attitude was extremely humble, with none of her previous arrogance.

Honestly, after their relationship changed, he suddenly didn't dislike the Witch's previous attitude as much.

Instead, it had a different kind of freshness, how should he put it? More of a goddess's pride?

He smiled, sweeping the strange thoughts from his mind, and said to the Witch:

"The coffins I asked you to keep safe are still intact, aren't they?"

The Witch nodded.

Receiving the answer, Dane nodded in satisfaction, then waved his hand, incinerating the two coffins on the ground into ash.

The Witch disappeared in a flash, and when she reappeared the next second, there were two more coffins in front of her, identical to the previous ones.

The two coffins Ra's al Ghul obtained were actually empty.

They were one-to-one replicas Dane made of the real coffins, and there was actually nothing inside.

Oh, that's not entirely accurate.

There were also two counterweights inside, otherwise, being too light, everyone would know something was wrong.

Ra's al Ghul was clearly not bored enough to open the coffins and examine the bodies after stealing them, so he had been kept in the dark all along.

Dane couldn't really let the Wayne couple be resurrected by the Lazarus Pit, because he knew what it was.

To be honest, Dane actually put a lot of effort behind the scenes for Ra's al Ghul to bring the Lazarus Pit to Gotham!

The mysterious chemical substance Ra's al Ghul mixed into the Lazarus Pit water was actually the artificial amniotic fluid from Kryptonian birthing pods.

It contained Kryptonian's highest biological technology, and an old-fashioned person like Ra's al Ghul naturally couldn't understand this "mysterious stuff."

Who knew what this thing would create?

Dane was also curious; combining Kryptonian biotechnology with the power of demonic black magic, what kind of monstrous thing had the "Lazarus Pit" become now?

Should he find someone to test it on?

It seemed Hush was also there?

Then there was no need to choose, it would be him!

"The thing we've been working on these past few days should be finished, right?"

The Witch nodded, and with a flip of her originally smooth palm, a slender stinger, about the length of a forearm, appeared.

This was the result of Dane and the Witch's efforts these past few days, a divine artifact combining the power of Death and the blessing of the God of Death.

Dane reached out and took it; the stinger disassembled, breaking down into individual components, and crawled beneath his battle suit.

He instructed the Witch: "Help me return the Wayne couple's coffins to the Wayne Manor cemetery, the location is here."

Saying this, he copied a small segment of his memory and gave it to the Witch, who indicated she understood.

After giving his instructions, Dane left the Rock of Eternity.

The Witch, following his orders, moved the coffins back to Wayne Manor.

But before leaving, she saw a suspicious-looking man heading towards Wayne Manor.

She had seen in Dane's memory that this man was Hush.

However, what was strange was that Dane's memory clearly showed that the man was in another location.

The Witch was very smart; she immediately realized that one of the two Hushes had to be a decoy.

So she quickly rushed over to tell Dane this news.

By the time the Witch found Dane, Dane had already grabbed "Hush."

As soon as he grabbed him, Dane felt that the texture was off.

"Why is it so sticky?"

At this moment, the Witch suddenly came to his side and spoke a native language.

Dane, who understood all human languages, immediately comprehended; he slapped "Hush's" head, making it explode.

There was no blood, no bones, and no blood vessels.

"Hush" slipped from his hand and slowly reformed like a lump of mud.

"Clayface, huh."

Joker is Joker, he just doesn't like to follow paths laid out by others, does he?

Dane reached his hand into the sludge, and electric arcs flashed; Clayface screamed in agony from the shock.

He told the Witch to leave first, then spoke into the intercom to Batman:

"The Hush here is Clayface in disguise. Where do you think the real Hush went?"

Batman's movements suddenly stopped; Ra's al Ghul seized the opportunity to punch him, then disengaged from the battle.

"Wayne Manor! Dane, take me back quickly!"

Dane opened a portal for him, and Batman jumped straight through.

Now, the entire ACE Chemical Factory was left with Ra's al Ghul and his daughter, Talia.

However, Talia was confronting her filial son, Damian, while Ra's al Ghul was fleeing.

Oh, he had already boarded the plane.

Funny, are you looking down on me, Shazam?

Dane measured the distance with his thumb, then gathered lightning in his other hand and hurled it like a javelin.

The lightning arced in a parabola, hitting its target squarely.

With a "boom," Ra's al Ghul would be at least half-crippled, if not dead.

Although the process was somewhat different, the result was the same.

Clayface was hard to kill; it was almost like real mud.

Moreover, Clayface was not a suitable reference point; there were too many uncertain elements about it.

In some comics, "Clayface" had rolled around in Hell, and after getting entangled with Hell, no one could say what its abilities consisted of.

So Dane didn't try to kill him; he took a magic urn from the Rock of Eternity and put Clayface inside.

Many things were sealed in the Rock of Eternity; one more wouldn't make a difference.

Anyway, I didn't kill anyone, right? Batman.

Ra's al Ghul was perfect for an experiment; after all, he had died and been resurrected before.

So he probably wouldn't mind dying one more time, living one more time, right?

Then it's decided, it's you!
