Saying that, he took out the Magic Box, and despite the Outsider's protests, directly shoved it into his hand, then deliberately whispered in his ear: "Your World, it's mine now!"
The Outsider tried to struggle, but Dane had already taken the opportunity to press his thumb against his forehead.
The magic power on his finger instantly stripped the Outsider of his will, forcing him to act only according to Dane's will.
So the Outsider, with a bewildered expression, raised the Magic Box, and a beam of light suddenly shot out from the box, traveling about two or three meters in front of the Outsider to form a circular door.
"I'll go in first, you all follow."
As the initiator and leader, Dane unhesitatingly took the lead.
So he walked directly towards the "door" and plunged into the teleportation tunnel.
There was no middle section inside; on the other side of the "door" was directly another exit, and Dane found himself in a dark alley.
"Who are you?"
Dane turned his head and saw a fierce-looking White man, dressed in a Police uniform, seemingly a local officer.
He also noticed that the label on the man's chest read "GCPD," a familiar feeling… "Is this Gotham?"
When the U.S. Police officer heard Dane ask this, he didn't answer him, but instead pulled the trigger with lightning speed, and bullets rattled against Dane's chest, then "swished" to the ground.
"That's not a wise choice."
Dane wasn't angry; he rushed in front of the U.S. Police officer with divine speed, leaving a blur behind him, and as the other man raised his gun to shoot him in the face, he grabbed the gun and blocked the bullet hole with his thumb.
The U.S. Police officer subconsciously fired, and the bullet bounced off Dane's fingertip, pierced the pistol's magazine, and flew diagonally, scratching the U.S. Police officer's other arm.
He screamed and released his grip on the gun.
Then the man looked at Dane in horror, covered his injured arm, and fled.
But Dane crushed the gun in one hand and quickly pulled the U.S. Police officer back with the other, then immediately used telepathy on him.
He quickly gathered some intelligence, and just as he had seen before, this was Gotham, Owlman's Gotham.
Now Gotham was completely under Owlman's autocratic rule; the previous hero, Jester, who dared to resist Owlman, had been personally killed by him.
The organizations here had become Owlman's pawns; whether it was gangs or Police, everyone served Owlman.
The U.S. Police officer who tried to escape just now wanted to report the situation here to his superiors.
As the de facto ruler of Gotham, Owlman had been keeping an eye on the entire city, making everyone vigilantly watch every corner to avoid missing any messages sent back by the Outsider.
Although the Outsider could use the Magic Box to open a teleportation tunnel, he couldn't transmit information very freely.
Especially after he designed Pandora to take the Magic Box, his communication with Owlman had been severed for a time.
But this was a good thing, at least for Dane and the Justice League, because it meant they hadn't entered Owlman's line of sight yet.
Dane wasn't afraid of him charging over to fight him face-to-face; he was only afraid that this old fox would hide somewhere, waiting for the opportune moment if things went south, and who knew what he would come up with.
After getting the intelligence he wanted, Dane threw the man in his hand aside, and just then, the other members of the Justice League also emerged from the tunnel.
Batman and he met eyes, and after a moment of silence, he hesitated and said: "You killed him?"
Dane felt he was being inexplicable, so he replied: "What are you thinking? He just fainted."
"That's good," Batman said.
Actually, he had been quite worried just now, because he learned from the Outsider that there were fewer good people than bad people in this World, especially in Gotham; hell itself seemed like a benevolent place compared to it.
Although most situations in the two Worlds were opposite, Gotham hadn't transformed from a place of evil into an Angel City; it hadn't undergone that kind of "opposite" change.
Instead, it had gone from "bad" to "even worse," like the difference between "mildly spicy" and "insanely spicy."
"So, did you get any useful intelligence?"
"Yes, this is a place you're very familiar with, Gotham City, does that count?"
Batman's body trembled at the words; no wonder he had felt a strange sense of familiarity just now, it turned out this was Gotham.
Behind him, more Justice League members walked out of the portal.
"Wow, this place is really awful!" Barry didn't know what he had stepped on, shaking his foot at an extremely high frequency until the thing came off his foot.
Then he saw that it was a condom, and Barry's face turned green… Other members also emerged from the portal, surveying this World.
Diana looked at the dim sky, feeling a slight familiarity; how similar it was to Gotham!
She held the Lasso of Truth in her hand, the other end behind the portal, and with a pull of the rope, the Outsider, cradling the Magic Box, walked out from the other side of the door.
The Lasso of Truth could make people speak the truth, so Diana asked: "Where is your Master now?"
