*Each queen had a tricks up their slip. but one goal is common win and take the thrown before the king died.
Icereal knew Oscar would never accept defeat like that. she knew dying was not in him.
Icereal knew that if someone else became the new king, then taking the thrown would be very difficult.
So she did what anyone would do.
She told Raphel to prepare for a full ability brutal fight with his half brother's.
Passing the other obstacles wasn't the problem. It was releasing her son to kill freely.
Around the time while Oscar was growing up, he showed his true identity.
She instantly discovered her husband wasn't just a vampire.
His species is the type far greater than her kind. she knew she had just breeded an immortal being.
Scared out her wits, she had decided to help her child control that side of him. And with great difficulties, she managed to put it in place.
Right now, she was aware she was about to release that side of him, knowing he would fully transform to a new him.
The day of the tournament arrived faster than anyone could imagine.
It was held in the largest arena in the kingdom.
The contestants weren't human, so they needed to be kept away from the humans. some were new awakened.
The humans were to stay in the arena and await the winner.
The contestants were to be teleported to a dark island called: "Vivamus, moriendum est."
meaning, let us live, for we must die.
Everyone had gathered to the arena by noon. and were awaiting the arrival of the king.
He arrived by two at noon and was being assisted to the thrown, for he couldn't walk by himself at that moment.
Looking round at everyone's faces, he spoke.
' Let the tournament for my thrown begin.'
Loud trumpets sounds were heard.Oscar raised up his hand to stop them and then continued his words.
' Everyone except for the contestants are to stay in the arena and await the arrival of the winner.' he looked through the crowd to see if he'll find who he was hoping to see.
But no sign of her. he knew her scent would be in the air if she was around, and her family would be the first to react. so he continued with a heavy sigh.
' The contestants, my son's will be teleported to the Live and death island. which signifys the role and responsibilities they were entitled to from birth.
There, they can use their abilities to the fullest.
They all have my pure blood in them.except they're bastards.' he said as he chuckled loudly. while some whispered. There, they can use their abilities fully.
' He still hasn't changed that overly proud attitude that I dislike. it'll soon turn to defeat.' The first queen thought as she sneered at him silently, while being confident her first son would win. she has three son's, but she didn't care about the other two, because they were born after. she focused on training the first.
The same goes for the other queens. They only trained their first son's and spoilt the other's. while using their female children to gain official powers.
' Let contestants enter the arena.' Said Oscar.
Ten males entered the arena dressed in fighting royal attires.
the first queen has only three sons.
the third queen has two sons and three daughters.
the fourth queen has five sons and two daughters.
A large crystal ball was placed in the center of the arena. it was the sorcerer's teleportation crystal ball, which would be used for transportation for the the princes.
Oscar wondered how his first son Raphael was. although he didn't know the boy much, he watched him telepathly. he grew into a fine young man.
All the contestants were teleported to the live and death island.
They were greeted by a strange disgusting smell, which caused some of them to feel nauseous.
'Don't take it too hard, little brothers. you weren't built for places like this. let's hope you all don't die too soon. farewell.' one said as he proceeded towards the dark
forest.
Oscar watched as his sons entered the arena, dressed in royal attires. He knew most of them were about to be gifted their death card.
The forest was dense and mysterious, with towering trees and an eerie atmosphere. Each contestant took a different path, unaware of what lay ahead.
As one contestant ventured deeper, he tripped over a tree branch, tumbling down a slope. Regaining his senses, he realized he wasn't alone. A menacing goblin hovered over him, its dark green eyes and huge circular nose making for a terrifying visage. Its skin was a disturbing mix of green and yellow shades. The goblin's large, pointy ears resembled a bat's, only more rough and circular.
The goblin roared with a ferocity that splashed gooey saliva across his face. Desperate to escape, the contestant tried to run, but it was too late—the goblin lunged, sealing his fate.
Raphael watched from above. He had planned to take out all his half-brothers, but it seemed the other creatures were adding to his "kill list." Turning toward the direction of his stronger half-brothers, the other queens had trained for battles. he navigated through the trees with ease. They were three in total, and they posed the greatest threat.
Arriving at the location of one of them, he jumped down. "I will handle them myself," he declared, snapping the neck of the werewolf his half-brother was battling using telekinesis. an ability from his father's bloodline.
"W... wh..who are you?!" his half-brother stammered.
"I'm your half-brother," Raphael replied with a mischievous grin.
"Interesting. I've never seen you, and you claim to be my half-brother. Does Father have an illegitimate child?" his half-brother thought, assuming a defensive stance.
"I'm not here for chitchat. You are an obstacle in the way of my position. I'm here to take out each and every one of you who would be a problem for me."
As the forest fell silent, the tension between Raphael and his half-brother was almost tangible. Raphael's eyes glinted with a fierce determination as he squared off against him. The two of them circled each other, surrounded by towering trees that seemed to whisper secrets of battles past.
With a sudden burst of speed, Raphael launched himself forward, his movements a blur. His half-brother, trained and seasoned, met him head-on, their clash echoing through the forest like a thunderclap.
Raphael feinted to the left, then swung a vicious right hook, his fist connecting with a force that sent his half-brother staggering. Regaining his footing, his opponent struck back, claws extended, aiming for Raphael's torso. With superhuman speed, Raphael sidestepped, catching the arm mid-swing and twisting it sharply. The crack of bone filled the air.
"Is that all you've got?" Raphael taunted, his voice steady despite the chaos.
His half-brother bared his teeth, rage fueling his strength as he charged forward once more. But Raphael was ready, utilizing his telekinesis to lift debris from the ground, hurling it with precision. Rocks and branches battered his half-brother, slowing him just enough.
Seizing the moment, Raphael launched himself upward, leveraging a branch to propel him downwards in a devastating kick to the chest. His half-brother crumpled to the ground, gasping for air.
In a final act of desperation, his half-brother lunged one last time. But Raphael, with the calm of a practiced predator, parried the blow and landed a precise punch to the temple. The fight was over.
Three minutes. That was all it took for Raphael to prove who was the true threat.
Breathing heavily but triumphant, Raphael looked down, his eyes cold but clear. He had won, but this was just the beginning
Raphael knew very well he had to step up. His other two half-brothers were far stronger than this one.
Teleporting to the top of a tree, he sighed.
His ears picked up a sound coming from the far northeast. He knew jumping through the trees was a faster way to spot his opponents.
He was about to jump on another tree when he felt a sharp pain in his head and chest, causing him to fall from the very tall tree. This impact broke his shoulders quickly, but he healed instantly.
"Ugh, not this again." This wasn't the first time he had experienced this. He had noticed some changes in his abilities, which were growing rapidly. But he shrugged it off. His mother had warned him to control his thirst for blood and tame his rage, but these days, he was more arrogant and violent due to his changing nature.
Getting up quickly, he used super speed to arrive at where his other half-brother was. Appearing just behind his brother, he was ready to snap his neck when suddenly he was elbowed in the stomach. The strong impact sent him backward, slamming his back into a tree with full force, making him cough blood.
"Who exactly are you?"
"You're the biggest obstacle Mother said I have to get rid of," Raphael said, letting out a loud dry laugh.
"How did you get here? Are you lost, or do you have a death wish?"
"Hmmm."
"Introduce yourself. I am Wade. Wade Clusttern," the first son to the heiress of the Socere Empire, the first queen, "and the future king to the Threxz kingdom. And you are?"
"Raphael Threxz," he declared with a cold look, "the first son of the Threxz Royal Empire and the rightful heir to the throne."
"What?! The dead son of the late second queen?" Wade responded with a shocked expression. "No way! You were supposed to be dead. Don't worry, I'll kill you here so no one will know you're alive. I'm sure that will make Mother happy," he said with an evil grin.
"We'll see about that."
