I dropped the bag on the couch in the small living room. When I remembered that Bella's mother planned to sleep on the couch, I took the bag away and dropped in on the bed.
The apartment had a thin board separating the bedroom from the living room. Thankfully, that would come in handy now that this strange woman was here. Ironically, I didn't even know her name yet.
She had left to use my bathroom. I could only hope that she wouldn't be a headache to me. I couldn't really tell how her behaviour would be.
"I'm so sorry, Bella," she said as she came out of the bathroom, wearing a robe.
I raised a brow, not knowing what she was sorry about.
She continued talking as she changed into a long red gown.
"My friend called and said that she booked a hotel for us. I have to go there."
"It's perfectly fine," I responded, while trying to hide the smile that threatened to appear on my face.
Good riddance. She was leaving even without me requesting it.
